Default A Reaccuring NightMare Please Help Me

It's always the same. I'm standing on a street. The same street that leads to my house. It's light outside, but I know it's night time. All over there street is broken shards of glass, and all around me are rain drops, frozen in their place. I'm walking, pushing a baby carriage, But I can't see the baby inside. I know I'm not wearing any shoes, and that my feet should be getting cut up by the glass, but I am unharmed. I walk into my house, but it is not mine, it's the house of my cousins when I was little. I don't have the baby carriage anymore, but I can hear a child crying. I run up the stairs, at first in my dreams I would step on the third step and it would disappear and I would fall, but now in my dreams I always jump over it and keep running. I reach the top, but I can't tell where the babies cry is coming from I run into the bedroom, it's decorated as a nursery, but there is no baby, I run into the bathroom, and there is a little boy, he's drowning in the bathtub, I try and grab him, but I can't see him clearly, I can't find him, finally I grab a hold of him, but when I pull him out, he is dead. I go to hold him, but he is gone, and I'm no longer in the bathroom, I'm sitting in the living room on my knees, I know I need to go back upstairs, I know that it's really important, but my friend Elli keeps telling me I need to come with her. I leave without going upstairs, and I get into the car, I'm driving down the street, but I'm can't drive, I'm running red lights and speeding. I come up to a really dark street, my husband is in the passengers seat instead of my friend. There are two others in the back, but I can't see them. The street gets darker the more I drive down it, I get so terrified that I stop the car, I don't want to drive anymore, I hear a loud screeching and I get hit from behind, I start screaming, I wake up screaming. Please someone help me with this dream I have it every night to every other night, I don't have any children, so I don't know why there is a baby. Please someone help.

Default Pushing a pram

Hi,
Your dream is very involved. It is about what you're thinking and contemplating in the daytime. Your thoghts and worries come out in your dreams.
Quote:
I don't have any children, so I don't know why there is a baby.
You may not have children at present but contemplate having a family in the future. Perhaps a present decision against having children is behind the dreams. You subconsciously try to justify your decision by dreaming about the down side of having children: They cry, need a lot of looking after and they are prone to accidents. However the dreams could also be caused by your own apprehensions about having children.

This part at the begging of your dream is to raise your awareness - to raise your level of consciousness so you can remember and respond to the dream. However it could also indicate that you get cold feet at night, or have some pain in your legs.
Cheers Wolfjk

Question very detailed dream

I see 8 points in your dreams. These are my thoughts. Feel free to see if my thoughts make any personal connections to your own dream.

1- Theres glass on the streets and your bare feet remain unhurt. I don't know what broken glass means so I wont pretend to know, but since your feet are okay I would say that your going through a situation and that your managing to make the best out of it. Even though you think it was too easy to get out of it.
2- To dream of a baby that you feel is your baby in the dream, means that you will have HARD work to come. Even though you don't see the baby, you still have that *feeling* that this is your baby that your tending to.
3- To dream that your hearing a child cry, this most likely represents your inner self from the past. Something made you feel emotional, lonely or scared as a child. Even though this child is a boy in your dream, it could still represent you. Maybe you have unresolved feelings about a childhood memory.
4- To dream of running upstairs means that you are OVER COMING a hard, tough situation. Even though in your life today you may have a new challenge approaching, you still manage to pull through and over come it. Its your own personal achievement. The fact that you recongize that you have to jump the 3rd step to make it up the stairs only means that you may have tried to tackle this tough situation one way and failed to succeed. Now you are able to see a better way to make it to the top. (Always note any numbers or colours in your dream too. The number 3 may have a personal meaning for you.)
5-To see a dead child who appears to have drowned... I need to know if this water was CLOUDY, DARK, CLEAR and CALM? etc? Focus more so on the water. If it was clear and calm, the struggle has already passed.
6- If you dream that you want to really go up the stairs when your friend is telling you to do something else, well I would think that you need to pay more attention to your own needs. Not being able to reach the top (of a hill, staircase or mountain) in any dream reflects a struggling situation that you need to adhere to. Next time, ignore your friend in the dream and see where your dream takes you next.
7- Notice that your dream started with you thinking that it was night-time, and that now the streets are dark still. Definitely check to see what night-time means. I dont know. At least you are in the drivers seat, that is much more positive than to dream that you are the passenger going through red lights without any control over the matter. I just think its interesting that your dream starts and ends in the night.
8- Oh my gosh, your hit from behind lol. I shouldnt laugh. Did you stop the car, and then you got hit from behind? Or were you driving fast and all of a sudden a speeding car caught up to you and hit you from the back? See the difference?

Default Thank You

Thank you both, both of your insights are ones I hope will help me with this dream. In response to a few. The water was very clear, and yet the baby was impossible to see, I don't know why this was, but anyhow. And as for the end, I had stopped the car. I was terrified to keep driving down the dark street. Also, yes, in the beginning of the dream, it is day time outside, as in, it is bright, but I FEEL as though it's nighttime. I KNOW it's nighttime, even though it doesn't look it. And in the end, it is night as well, but in that part it is dark. It really bothers me that there are so many faces I can not see in my dream, the baby, the people in the back seat. I will try and will my dream to take my upstairs next time. With this dream and, it's been the only dream to do so, I actually realize I am dreaming and can make consciouses decisions, but it's often so very difficult. I have often tried to grab the baby from the carriage to look at him but the result was always my hands would become bound to the carriage, so I was unable to move them, this also happened in an instant when I attempted to grab onto the bathtub instead of the baby, so I would not end up in the living room below, but this failed too, my hands went right through the tub to the child.

Hi,

Shreds of the glass means a sad woman, rain means blessing but if frozen means frozen blessings.
Being barefeet means not to have a partner or not to have a job.
Pushing a cart means some dignity on the way.
A baby means some blessing or an unexpected benefit.
A house means a man or some money.
Going upstairs means trying to achieve a wish.
A baby crying means a happiness but a little boy means a sorrow .If dead means ending a sorrow.
Driving means guidance of the life and giving support and advice to the passenger seat.
Darkness means misleading in the belief and the true way of life.
But screaming means a car accident or something bad on the way.
Good luck.
