Two Part Dream

In case it's relevant, I'm female, married, and in my late 20s.

In my dream, I was at a dinner party with friends. I was dressed kind of nice, but not extra special - jeans with a nice top and a scarf in my hair. My husband wasn't there. I knew all the guys, they were the husbands of women I know, but not the women... they were attractive, but not movie star quality, and of varying ages, but they were kinda rude, snarky I guess... One older woman (40s maybe) came in and she had a hickey, and the other women were making fun of her and I said something and she snapped at me and looked down at me (she was standing, I was sitting on the floor), and said "not like you could get one." I said, "I have a husband you know, he could do that if he wanted," and laughed, making it a joke. She just said "oh" and turned away and the other women laughed.

Then, for someone reason it was revealed we were in the wrong place, although I don't know how, and we had to drive somewhere else. Next thing, I'm pulling into a parking lot (I'm in my old car, not the one I have now and I'm alone), but I parked really badly, I was way too close to the car on my side and I had to squeeze to get out. While I was doing that a woman who was crying clambered into my back seat. Before I could react a man had run up on my side and was pulling on the back door trying to get in after her. I turned around and he looked at me and then pulled out a gun and said "sorry lady, you're going to heaven" and I couldn't run cause I was jammed up between the cars. So I grabbed at him and shuffled forward, trying to get him away from me... and then I woke up.

No idea what any of it means and I'm wondering if the two parts are connected or completely unrelated.

As an outsider looking in, allow me to delineate the ingredients of your dream as I see it. Obviously it involves female rivalry and possibly connected to social status and you found yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time and sympathising with the underdog (or victim). This caused you to become socially isolated compelling you to react to escape the pressure or accusation. Can those ingredients be associated to any current real-life situation?
