God Spoke

I had this dream about 15 years ago and only told a few people about it since. Wanting some sort of explanation for this dream, most of the people I told were very religious. The dream:

It starts out during or after the Rapture. The world is burned. All buildings and structures have fallen into piles of fiery rubble. The sky is black. There is no sun anymore. The only light that exists is from the fire that is left behind in the streets. All followers of Christ have been taken into Heaven. All except for a few. For some reason, some people that were to enter Heaven did not make it. Even a close friend of mine's family were left behind. And they are deeply commited Catholics. Satan supposedly had something to do with this. And, of course, I was left behind. Not being the religious person I was supposed to be ruined my chances for entrance into Heaven. But for some reason I had this feeling that I was charged with this mission to find all of God's lost people. And doing so, would prove to God that I had some sort of commitment to Him and to myself to finish such a task. So, there I am wandering through burned out cities collecting people as I go. Eventually, I found all of the people on my "list"...except one. (Flashback: Well before the Rapture began, my friends little cousin went missing. A little girl about 9 years old. Well.....she was on my list.) Then we came to a clearing in all of the ruin. As we walked out of the ruin into the clearing a stage came into sight. We walked toward the stage then my friends sister let out a blood curdling scream. I turned around and looked at her. She was staring at the stage, screaming, and crying. I turned back to the stage to see a little girl standing in the center of the stage wearing a white nightgown. Her face had been burned until black and slashed. I couldnt see a face anymore. It was her. My last person. To the right of the stage stood seven figures dressed in judges robes and carrying very large, old books. Their faces looked like the old devil depiction. Goatee, tiny horns, thin curly mustache. It was Satans Council. They were mumbling in some odd language reading from their books. They had some sort of spell working on the little girl. I stood there thinking, "How in the hell am I supposed to go up against the Devil? She is my last person! God would'nt expect me to beat the Devil....would He?" Just then the curtains on the stage began to draw back. And a large movie screen started to light up. Clouds started to form on the screen. Then the clouds slowly moved around to almost make...a face??...It was God. Then He spoke. It was one syllable. You could'nt hear anything else at that time. Just his voice. It was the loudest sound I have ever heard, but didnt hurt my ears. It seemed that a wave hit all of us at once, but didnt knock us back. The sound went through everyone. When God was finished speaking, Satans Council had stopped their mumbling and were staring up at God in fear. Then they hurried away out of sight. Then the clouds moved around a little more and settled into regular looking clouds. It was'nt said to me, but I got the feeling that God knew that I could'nt beat the Devil. He just wanted to see me get to that last point. Then I woke up. I get goose bumps everytime I think about that dream. I'll never forget it.

Wow, some dream! I believe this dream is quite symbolic and may have multiple layers to them. Part of the message I believe has to do with God's purpose for your life as well as letting you know the spiritual condition of those that didn't make it into Heaven. You were left behind and sent on a mission to save those who were "lost", meaning part of God's plan for you may be to tell others about who God is and how they can be in right standing with Him. A person doesn't have to be religious to know God, on the contrary many religious people don't know God on a personal level, they just know about God. Someone once told me that standing in a garage doesn't make you a car anymore than going to church makes you a Christian (one who has a personal relationship with Jesus). I believe that is the reason why many religious people stayed behind (this will actually be a sad reality when the real rapture happens). We are living in a day where there is STILL time to know God intimately through Jesus, which the bible says He will wash away our sins. The little girls reminds me of Revelation 3:5....

"He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."

This is what takes places spiritually when we first accept Christ in our hearts, he writes our names down in His book of life and spiritually clothes us with Righteousness (right-standing as I mentioned earlier). Having a glimpse of the seven creatures by the stage mumbling words may mean "accusations" they are making against those who are clothed in righteousness. This is also to get you to see what is taking place spiritually over every person's life. The job of the devil is to accuse us day and night without rest (Rev. 12:10). But once someone makes a decision to accept Christ and receive His forgiveness, those sins are remembered no more. In those books those "devils" were holding are all the sins, wrong-doings, secret sins, etc. they were mumbling.

God coming into the picture and what you felt I'm sure was an awesome presence, is to let you know of His power and ability to overrule anything the devil would try to accuse others of. Not only that but to give you strength and boldness beyond your own ability to set out to do what He has purpose for you to do (the way He did with Moses in the book of Exodus).

I know I've said a mouthful here and I prayerfully submit this for your review. By all means take this back to God in prayer and allow Him to show you and unravel His purpose for your life further.

Of all the world's religions your dream is powerfully influenced by the Abrahamic ones and it reveals that you are the product of a determined Christian background therefore you can hardly claim to be agnostic in any sense of the word. Although it comes across as a well-crafted piece of propaganda, its message is simple and suggests that once you have accomplished your task on this secular plain then you reach your end. To read anything else into it is simply an act of delusion.

That was a powerful dream, but you may not be happy with my interpretation. I think it was a message that you presume too much. You think it's YOUR mission to save everyone, but you do not have the power to do so (evident in your inability to beat the devil). When you had the dream, somewhere in the recesses of your heart, you felt guilty for not doing more to prove yourself to God. LOVE and TRUST in HIM are proof--works without these two are empty gestures. You're relying too much on your own "power" to save yourself and others. Trust in God more and in yourself less.

I think everyone has a power to beat satan. All you have to have is faith...
I think HE just showed you the magnitude of HIS (GODS) power. HE is the ALFA AND OMEGA.
Satan has no power, unless you wanto, he can not make you, free will and all you know. It is interesting how it was showen to you. All scrunched up like that.
You yourself can not "save" anyone. You can just plant the sead in there mind, and let them figure it out.
Satan has no power over the little girl do not worry about her.

Hi. Do you believe in reincarnation? My mother (raised Catholic) told me that the 2nd time around the earth was going to flood b/c the 1st time it was destroyed by fire. So I am not sure this is the future but maybe the past.

The other thing it could mean is that you will rescue lost souls in this life and show them the way!
