Default Plane Crash

I was in this plane that was just taking off. The plane couldn't get high enough and hit a fence, but kept flying. I thought "oh my God, we are going to crash". Then electrical cables above a street came ahead. I thought, "now the cables will make us crash". But we flew right between them. Then we definitely were coming down. I thought, now I'm going to die. But before the crash, It was like I was taken out of my body, I was in some safe place. Then I came back to my body. I was alive on the crash scene. No pain, no wounds and alive.

I have recurring dreams on planes. Flying low, barely missing light poles and electrical cables. Taking off from a highway just missing cars.

Hi,
A plane means a working group as big as the seats it has guided by a few.
If levitated meas thework will achieve its wish.If crashed means the work place will lose a wish.

We had a very important meeting yesterday. The company a work for is going through serious cash-flow problems. Some of our suppliers will have their payment dates postponed, and some employees fired.

well in some ways I say just forget dream dictionaries. Just look at ordinary dictionaries and see how these metaphors are expressing your current mindset. Flying high flying low... almost crashing. How do these descrivbe the day before? think about it? what about the day to come and the worries in your mind about that
------------------------
What exactly is a dream? A dream often captures some new thought or feeling or fantasy. Often deeply embedded in it is some idea or thought. Try to bear that in mind when understanding a dream. A dream will symbolise some conceptual thought such as "I think my grandmother is still angry with me after what I said" . Many dreams revolve us making such judgements based upon our intuitions.

How exactly do you go about understanding the meaning of a dream symbol? Well first you start to make associations with that symbol. Take for instance if you had a dream about Tony Blair the Prime Minister of the UK. You can associate many things with him. First of all he is a decision maker. The dream then could capture you wanting to take some serious decision within your own life. But equally Tony Blair is a man who began his political life a hero who was universally popular. Now he is disliked by almost everyone in the country. Maybe the dream captures some similar situation for yourself eg "When I first started my job everyone liked me. I could do nothing wrong. But recently I have become universally unpopular". But we could also see Tony Blair in another sense. He is the ally of President Bush and is often accused of doing everything he says and because of this has been accused of being a poodle. So maybe the dream captures some theme with a similar "yes man" theme. But Tony Blair could also have different meanings. He has virtually said that he will resign in the spring and there was much speculation about this and about how he should go about resigning. Maybe the dream captures a similar theme in your own life eg "I am thinking of leaving my job. But if I tell my boss it may cause trouble for me. I might just leave it as long as possible".

Therefor its possible to list many different symbolic meanings. Any one of these could be correct. The first association that comes to mind is not always the correct one. Its a matter of trying out different theories and then seeing if they fit the situation or feelings within your life. If one seems to work then try working in the other dream symbols.

Post It seems...

It seems like this could be related to your real life. You fear that the plane will crash as you run into obstacles. In real life, you have situations that maybe you are going through and are afraid that you'll have obstacles that will stop you from acheiving what you want. This is what I think. I hoped it helped.=)

I understand that dreams are to be interpreted symbolically or literally; that sometimes we are compensating some issues that we have when awake; that sometimes we are influenced by what we eat before going to bed; that dreams are about our desires, emotions, fears... And it all make sense to me.

But how to explain what we find in this Dream Dictionary-Advanced ???
How can one link, for instance, teeth with family members?? If you say that teeth are as fixed as family members, why not dream of fingers, or hair, or nail?? Why teeth???
The brother of a friend of mine died recently and my friend told me she dreams a lot of falling teeth.
This suggests that these images are based on archetypes. But do they work for everyone?? Is it based on culture??

Well yes archetypes would be one way to describe it. Jung was famous fro these. He believed that we will all have similar symnbolic meanings and myths which tap into our consciousness.

To be honest I understand what you are saying. It is an unusual symbol. I think it holds true waht I say. I study dream symbols in reverese. I collect dreams that I believe I know the meaning of . Then I start to interpret these in a reverse way. I look at strong issues which trigger dreams. Then see how each symbol is being expressed.

I noticed with teeth dreams that this was one possible meaning. A tooth is similar to a family ember or relationship. Its semi permanent. It can be removed but only with great pain. Thats one meaning. I know that there maybe many other meanings.

First look at an ordinary dictionary. Notice that each word can have several different usages. For instance we can refer to a cup of tea, a cup of coffee... but we can also uses cups to describe other things.. breast sizes. Many other words appear that have many many meanings. Its got to be the same with dream dictionaries.

We nay all use deams symbols in very personal ways. Yet they maybe also have very common meanings. Its all very complicated. Its not easy. Dreams to me refer to the mind and its thoughts. Its a symbolic version of real life concepts and ideas.

The best way to understand a dream is to wait for something big to happen. Then we know almost certainly that this dream is linked to this issue. For instance rthe dream you had on september 12th 2001 has almost certainly got to be about that. But also we have many personal issues which dominate our thinking. If you argue or are highly engrossed in some thing then surely you will dream about it. Then look at what your actual thoughts are. Then see how each symbol can be interpreted in reverse. If you felt happy the day before look for symbols that can symbolise light hearted emotions.

------------------------
The connection between dreams and the day before the dream is really very strong. Its stronger than you would imagine. Thats because of the way that the mind is built. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Then at nighttime we work through these and proceed to transfer them and integrate them into the long term memory banks. So always look for a possible explanation from the day before. In fact try to spot intuitions as they develop in your mind. What made you stop and think the previous day? What relationships have you been thinking about? What strong fantasies or paranoia's have been on your mind?

Of course a dream may have a different meaning. Dreams can be premonitions and can link to deep telepathy. But really do not pursue such explanations before you have at least tried some more mundane explanations. A dream may simply link to some simple everyday emotion.

Hi,
Surprising Uncle Sir said most of what I could say.Yes the interpretations here are used for everybody because they for the humanity culture by the prophets like Daniel and they are interpreted by the prophets and saint people hundreds of years ago and they can be matched to the others always. The roots of these interpretations are mythology of the holy books so they are for all.

BRAVO!!!!
Interesting enough is that our unconscious knows about these natural characteristics of teeth; which, as you explained, are the same for relationship among family members. Our unconscious works in a more conceptual (symbolic) level.

This is what I like about dreams, they make us more human, more grounded, if we just give them a little attention.

As for the religious interpratation, the "prophets" had this touch with the "map of the soul" thus bringing us these natural laws.
