i often have a dream that im having sex with my mom..this dream really makes me uncomfortable as you can expect...please help me understand what this means.. thanks

Simply this dream means that you or she will have a far travel or the relationship will be cut and you will see her very rarely.

About the approximate interpretation time table: Dreams at noon or exactly at midnight( In the summer time 13 at noon and 1 midnight else at 12)in the same day if past a few minutes, a few days later. Dreams at 10-11 in the morning in 15-30 days later. Also dreams at 3-4 in the evening in 1-2 months .Dreams in the sunset mostly are not truthful and are messed, they have no interpretations, Dreams at 4-5 in the morning in a few days to 2 months some dreams in the holy books( Josef dream of kneeling the sun and the moon and 11 stars)was interpreted after 20 years and other dreams of the Pharaoh's prisoners interpreted in the same day and after 7 years. Dream of Pharaoh about the 7 thin cows and 7 fat cows interpreted from the next year to 14 years. Also dreams in 6th of the month will interpret after 1-2 days, in 9th at the same day, in 10th after 20 days, in 13th after 9 days in 14th after 26 days and in 15th after 3 days, in 16th after 2 days and in 28th ,29th ,30th in the same day, but these are solar (Persian months and you should refer to a calendar or convert them) . Of course there are different kinds of dreams , like messy dreams which have no interpretations or deja vu dreams, or psychological dreams or dreams which are caused by bad food or drinks.

It confirms your normality but probably also suggests that you do not have an interesting contemporary female within your current close relationships to focus on.

using dream interpretation, it may mean that u wish to make love with someone who is nurturing or caring, or someone you can settle down with.

Wow, don't feel out of place, I've had dreams of having sex with my sister and my cousin.

Maybe something is going on in your life and you really want to please your mother. After all, isn't that the main purpose of having sex? Haha.

Just my first inclination.

Having sex is joining with another, perhaps you are incoporating some of your mother's personality traits into your own or getting in touch with the maternal part of your being.

dreams compare one thing to something else so this dream could refewr to some taboo as jennings has said but also to some other feeling that was uncomfortable. eg

"yesterday I watched TV and this sex scene came on. I did not know where to put myself"

"I was discussing my emotions yeterday and my mom was asking deeply personal questions which I found excruciatingly embarassing"

"I kind of found this freind of the family quite sexy yesterday. She had a most attractive little outfit on. She is a bit older but I really fancied her"

So anything like this could trigger the dream. Look for little incidents or momments which could have triggered the dream. Especiually from the day before

Hi,
At your age this is a bit unusual. It is difficult for an outsider to make any comments. Sometimes the full text of the dreams and the re-telling of it may give a clue what the subconscious is trying to do or say.
There could be a number of reasons: too much libido, no female companion, or you have fallen genuinly inlove with your mother. However if you are gay the dream would be dreamt for a different reason
