had a dream about deceased friend.

okay. i had a crush on this boy, Adam, in 6th grade. He was in 8th grade. He went to high school and i happened to go to the same high school. My Freshman year (2006) during spring break, we got one of those recorded calls from my school saying that a student from our school had passed away in a car accident and we were going to have a memorial mass the say we got back to school. I found out that is was Adam. My heart suddenly dropped to the floor and i was depressed for about a month or two. i wasnt even close to him. we had NEVER talked. he knew that i had liked him and me and my best friend "secret 3-wayed" him on the phone but that was about it. and the circumstances surrounding his death were very ironic but that's another story itself. anyway, i went to his viewing and i caught the end of his funeral because i didnt think i could take it. i dont even know why it bothered me so much. but like a week after the funeral i had a dream about him. then like a month later i had another. and last night, i had another.
its really weird.
in all of my dreams he's dead, but he's not.
this latest one, i was like at a carnival with my mom and aunts and we were going upstairs to get some food and i saw him and i was like "look mommy, its adam before he died". he was sitting at a table just starring at me with this grin on his face. i think my mom ignored me. but after we were done doing whatever we were doing i wanted to go back and talk to him and see if it was really him. in the dream i knew he was dead and i didnt know why he was there.

these dream have bothered me so much that i've looked to websites like this to help me understand, but nothing seems to relate to me. can someone please help me?!

Dreaming of passed away person alive eas :1- He has good situation in the spirituals .2- An important but got impossible job or something forgotten will be OK for you.

Hi, This kid i loved passed away about 4 months ago, i had a dream bout him and he told me that he was so sorry. I never got the chance to tell him how i felt about him or to tell him that i really loved him. His mom came to my house and gave me his stuff out of his car. She had a dream of him and she said that he had a collection of Arrowheads and he wanted her to show them to me and pick out which one i wanted. I just want him to come back in my dream or come to me so i can tell him how i felt and tell him that i really did love him. The picture above is him.

Hello Lee. I am sorry about your friend. Why do you think he is telling you he is sorry? I think, that maybe he already knows you love him. Spirits sense these things. He probably sensed it in the dream. Take good care

I too, just a few nights ago, dreamed of a deceased friend I have not even thought about in 15 years. Mostly when a deceased relative or friend comes in a dream they are there to comfort you and to encourage you. Sometimes they even warn you. A simple smile from him could be that he is just acknowledging his appreciation he had for you, especially knowing how difficult it was for you to be at his furneral...he knew and appreciated the effort.

thank you darkangel61. i've often though about that before. i think i feel bad because i never got to tell him in person how i felt, he instead found out through my friends. and its kinda ironic because like a couple weeks before he died i was going to send him a comment on myspace and finally start talking to him but i never did it. and i guess its bothering me to the extent that i have dreams about it. but now i feel better because i know what the problem is and can hopefully solve it.

and thank you too, rocketsquirrel(im also sorry about your friend). it comforts me knowing that he appreciated me and my effort to attend his funeral. my grandmother is buried at the same cemetary he is and whenever i the courage, i visit him, and im sure he appreciates that too, since it is also very difficult and i never leave without crying.

im glad i joined this forum because i would have never analyzed my dreams as well as you too have. both of you have helped me beyond belief and i thank you very much!

Thank you so much. I have to tell someone about this. I feel horrible. Short story: I met Mikey through his mom, I met him and right away he was a kid i always could picture myself being with. The only problem was that he was much younger than me. His mom said to me one day hey i do not mind if you and Mike got together, he thinks you are really hot and wants to get to know you better. The other thing is i am with someone for awhile and i have a son with him. Mike called me a couple of times and asked me to do something with him but i never got back to him. This is the thing i am feeling the worst about. I instantly felt something for him the day we met. I was standoffish because i didn't knkow what to do. Then about a week later i get a message from his mom telling me that he overdosed and he died. He was into drugs but he checked himself into a clinic and wanted to get clean but he mixed something with the meds they gave him and he died. I just want so bad for him to come to me in my dream again so i can tell him how i feel. The thing is that maybe if i called him back and was there for him and hung out with him in a possitive way that he wouldn't of been so depressed and he would still be here. How do i get over this guilt? Thank you guys for listening i appreciate it.

I am so sorry that your friend died, but from reading your dream, I believe he came to you to tell you that he is happy and he knew you cared for him. He gave you a big smile! You can invite him to visit you in your dreams again, but please remember that your waking life will move forward without him being there in real time. I know that this is a difficult time for you right now - being in high school and going from being a child to becoming an adult is not an easy process. But you've been very wise to seek help on this forum and I believe you will continue to seek wisdom and find happiness in the future. Good luck!

im sorry about Mike. but you can't blame yourself because you couldn't have possibly known that he would pass away, ya know? i know this sounds cliche but all throughtout Adam's death, i told myself that everything happens for a reason so maybe you and mike just wasn't ment to be. maybe he would have brought you into that lifestyle of using drugs or something bad could have happened while you were with him. whatever the reason may be, something god WILL eventually come out of it. i learned through Adam's death not to take anything for granted and live everyday to it's fullest because it can all be taken away so fast.

i do believe that Adam is extreamly happy where he is. and i hope he did know that i cared for him because this wouldn't be an issue if i didn't. i am really proud of myself though for moving on. im just afraid of moving on too fast and forgetting him. and its times like these, when i dream about him, that he is constantly on my mind but it's be improving. but thank you for your kind words and encouragement!
