A few months ago, (I'd say around 3-6) I had a pretty disturbing dream that I was a murderer. I killed someone with a knife, it wasn't anyone in particular. I methodically went around disposing of their body, and ending up burying it. After I had returned to my home and disposed of the shovel I had used and clothing I realized what I had actually done. In my dream I started to fret and freak out, thinking "I just killed a human being, what the hell have I done? I can't go on like this, I have to turn myself in. What the **** have I done?" I was freaking out so much in my dream that I woke myself up in a cold sweat. I eventually fell back asleep and all was well.
Since then I have had two more dreams that I have murdered someone. The next one after the first was pretty much the same, though I didn't dream the actual murder, I just dreamt I was on the run and the guilt of the murder was like an oppressive weight on my entire body, dragging me down. (to note, in this dream I remembered my previous dream and just thought it was a previous murder I had done) Just recently, around a month ago I had the worst yet. I dreamt I was a murderer again, and this time I had several victims. The first half of my dream was preoccupied with evading the authorities. Suddenly halfway through my dream I realized my victims were all children, and I started screaming (in my dream) which again I woke up from. I really don't think I am a murderer, but I have to know what the hell is up with these dreams. The cruelest I have ever been is stomping on bugs (I can't stand spiders, gawd) I have never dreamt ever before that I have killed anyone, so these last three dreams are making me nervous. I don't even have anyone I hate, and I hate fighting. Can anyone give me any indication as to what these dreams could mean? At the worst before my dreams have always been about monsters as I used to watch horror movies all the time (I haven't watched very many in the last year, too busy), so this is totally new dream ground for me. Thanks in advance for any insight! |

Dreaming of murder is representative of something ending in your life most often a close relationship and more often one from the past. Usually someone with whom you were emotionally attached and had to abandon the emotional connection to move forward with a more current relationship. Those type of dreams can indeed be quite dramatic and frightening. Does this help or is it wide of the mark?

Hi Overleft,
I red your post and the relevant part of it is the quote bellow: Quote:
My experience is that these sort of dreams happen when one is on the edge of a nervous breakdown. Sit yourself down and contemplate what is upsetting you. Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
Dream language is symbolic based on the mythology of holy books and should be interpreted. So, If one dreamt someone killed him means he will have a long life. If dreamt he killed someone but didn't decapitate him means he will do him a favor. If dreamt a group were killed means he will have a benefit. The Israelian /33. If dreamt someone killed him in oppression means he is oppressed and someone will revenge for him.The Pilgrimage /60. If one dreamt killed his own child means he will receive moral livelihood. The Livestock/151. If one dreamt killed a fierce animal or an insect or a roach means he will overcome the enemy. Dream language interpretation is an ancient science of allusions and pointing of the surrounded environment, as Mr. Einstein has said the events are like train stations which exist and we are moving towards them, these are prewritten destiny with some authority ( in decision making seconds) in very full details. This dream language should be translated, and interesting to know it is international and common for all human beings. But ignorance causes some misunderstanings.People were not aware of this language and always thought in a bad way , for example Mr. Freud said about sexual dreams it is because you have suppressed your sexual desires so misled everybody and some women dreamt about having sex with co-workers or another and thought they should do that, while it only meant he will do something for her, or some others dreamt had sex with the same sex and invented homosexual, while it meant the same ,Also some men dreamt his wife had sex with a man and didn't understand or a woman dreamt her partner had sex with a woman and didn't' understand ...etc.Do you see what catastrophes are caused by misunderstanding a language. About the approximate interpretation time table: Dreams at noon or exactly at midnight( In the summer time 13 at noon and 1 midnight else at 12)in the same day if past a few minutes, a few days later. Dreams at 10-11 in the morning in 15-30 days later. Also dreams at 3-4 in the evening in 1-2 months .Dreams in the sunset mostly are not truthful and are messed, they have no interpretations, Dreams at 4-5 in the morning in a few days to 2 months some dreams in the holy books( Josef dream of kneeling the sun and the moon and 11 stars)was interpreted after 20 years and other dreams of the Pharaoh's prisoners interpreted in the same day and after 7 years. Dream of Pharaoh about the 7 thin cows and 7 fat cows interpreted from the next year to 14 years. Also dreams in 6th of the month will interpret after 1-2 days, in 9th at the same day, in 10th after 20 days, in 13th after 9 days in 14th after 26 days and in 15th after 3 days, in 16th after 2 days and in 28th ,29th ,30th in the same day, but these are solar (Persian months and you should refer to a calendar or convert them) . Of course there are different kinds of dreams , like messy dreams which have no interpretations or deja vu dreams, or psychological dreams or dreams which are caused by bad food or drinks. Thanks for the replies.
I am actually leaving my home soon, I recently found out that my ship date for the Navy will be march 10th, so maybe the more recent dream could be something about leaving my parents. Wolfjk, that could very well be. My work is often times stressful as I do not get a long with the people I work with at the moment. They treat me rather badly and sometimes it gets to be a lot, so perhaps that could be another cause? It only boils to a point rarely, so maybe I had the other dreams around rather stressful times at work? |

WOW that sounds like my dreams. You and I must be on the same wave length. I really don't know unless it's inner agression working its way out. Or it could be a sign of confidence in fighting your fears, or possibly losing control?

well you will fidn that the most religious of people have fdreams that they are not being religious neough andn that they are sinners who hould be punished. Criminals and murderers do not have such dreams.. they are uncaring and uncompassionate
Your dream represents something similar. You judge yourself and see the worst in yourself. Yet in truth that is just a way of keeping your actions under strict control. You do not like to be viewed as mnasty and the worst kind of person(murderer) and so constantly look out for signs of your own worst side. Dreams do not represent truth just the perceptions inside our heads. We judge ourselves and you judge yourself harshly. ----------------------------- The father of modern dream interpretation is not Freud or Jung but rather Jon Winson. But he never made a single dream interpretation. Instead he conducted research into the mind and established that certain brainwaves (theta waves) only appear during the night time. During the day we store up all new experiences and feelings in short term memory. Then at night we start to work through what happened the previous day and we integrate these into long term memory blocks. Then finally we clear short term memory blocks ready to start the process again the next day. Its likely that any dreams we have are linked to these brain functions. The weird images and feelings once deciphered capture our own feelings and new insights into the world around us. So the dreams then will often link to specific events from the day before and to new ways in which our world has been reshaped. It may simply link to our paranoias and fantasies. If we are focused on something about to happen in the near future then the dreams may link to that. Each dream captures one specific feeling or thought process.
