Default Every few months I have a really freaky dream, this was it...

Every few years I have a dream that makes me really wonder what's going on in my subconscious!

I had some kind of interview, and I went to a mysterious house to do so. I asked many people where the person who was supposed to inverview me was, and was told to go higher in the house. I ended up in the attic, where a man told me to begin. I explained who I was and why I was best for the job, but as I did so I realized I was getting menstrual blood all over his sheets- everywhere.

He left me, and I realized I was trapped up there. I remained trapped in that small room, guarded by vicious dogs. After a long time they were traded out for vicious cats, but I was able to escape because I love cats and am not afraid of them. I picked one of them up and brought it downstairs.

I told the man in charge of the house that we had to destroy the monster I had found in the attic, a demon which looked like a baby but was actually a baby-eater. Upon being revealed for what it was the demon changed shape and I could see tiny baby feet imprints poking out from inside its body.

I had to toss the baby-eating demon into a small room, which was comprised of brightly-colored, plush Indian (Asian, not American) cots. A couple of other bodies were laid out in the room as well, naked and slightly monsterous creatures. Hot oil started to fall on them and they along with the baby-eating demon writhed in pain, although the man at my side assured me that they didn't feel it. I had a very trapped feeling.

At a seperate, unrelated portion of the dream my mother was very upset with me because we hadn't allowed her to drive home drunk. I only mention it because it had the same tense, unhappy emotion as the dream I described.

Hi,
Being at hight of an attic means achieving a a wish and receiving some dignity,
Cycle blood means you will receive a good deal of money but you will spend some for the b/f or partner.( sheets).Being trpped means you will be deceived or will be told lies.
Dogs are kind enemies or the people who doesn't act on their knowledge.
Cats are kind women or if the cats ate something means a thief or a robber.

Thanks.

I read in a dream dictionary that dogs can mean dependance on family and fidelity and cats can mean independance, and the dream took on a very strong meaning for me... I'm currently living back at home after college and a year teaching abroad, and am feeling quite boxed-in by family obligations and a feeling of leaching off my mom even though I have a full-time job.

I think that rejecting the vicious dog in favor of the equally vicious cat is my brain's way of telling me that I need to suck up the difficulties of going back out on my own and just do it rather than being complacent.

I still don't understand the rest of the dream, but I think that part makes eerie sense.

Maybe "receiving a wish at the top of an attic" makes sense because many people wish they had parents willing to support them for so long, but for me it's kind of a trap, hmm...

well to me a dream represents a series of thoughts on a particular subject. each symbol represents some portion of your thoughts. Try to see how the dream links to reality. a dream will be similar to the conversations we have inside our own heads. For instance your dream could link to some moment when you realise that you have been a little deluded in your thinking. Your motjher often links to your own caring nature and if she is drunk we can weave together a meaning. That you have been a little deluded(drunk) within your own caring side. Soi then try to see if thatsb true at all.

In fact work out dreams in reverse. For instance if something was bothering you yesterday then such major events and thoughts will probably trigger your dream. Then see oif the symbols link to this dream. If your mind is pretty chaotic then look for symbopls that represent chaos.. eg a tornado

A demon represents something out of control and evil within your thinking(perhaps). Or maybe its representing something out of control and monstruous in others thinking.. check if thats the case.. if so explore the dream further along similar lines

------------------------
By the end of the day we are tired and exhausted. Thats generally because of how the mind is organised. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Its only at night that we start to work through what has just happened the previous day. We reform our emotions and transfer the important bits iof information into long term memory. Then we clear the short term memory blocks ready for the day ahead and the whole process starts again. So obviously there is a strong connection between the previous day and dreams. Look for the thoughts dominating your previous day. They will probably link to your dream.
