Huge Lower Back Tattoo

I had a dream that I had some kind of health problems and to "cure" them I had a huge tattoo made on the lower back, spanning the whole width of the back. It wasn't anything in particular, just intertwining tribal-style symbols or something like that. I don't have tattoos in real life, so I don't really know much about them.

Then I somehow found out that I was either cured or there was a real cure but I was already stuck with that huge tattoo, so for the rest of the dream I tried covering it up and hiding it from people.

I found the word "tattoo" in dream dictionaries but they don't specify where the tattoo is. Most said that if you are covered in tatts you will be facing some troubles and will be forced to leave home either forever or for a really long time. But I wasn't covered in tattoos and there was a reason I had gotten one...

Any ideas what this could mean?

It is very likely that you had some problem with your lower back in the sleep. It could have been an itch or may be you lay on one side too long and you felt a prickly sensation. Your dream was telling you to move or turn over.
Your subconscious does not have a language and has to use some of your experiences to tell you what is happening in your sleep.
Tattooing feels like a prickly sensation so your subconscious used the idea to tell you how your back felt. You might say that you never had tattoo, however I'm sure you must have heard how it felt.

Tatto is interpreted as trying hard to achieve scientific degrees.
There is an old story here that says:
Once a young man wanted to be a big wrestler he asked what is the symbol for a big powerful man , people said you should have a tatto.

Hi Wolfjk, first of all, thanks for responding. But I don't think it was discomfort because I don't remember any pain. I don't remember actually being tattooed. I just decided to do it and then I already had it on my back and then was trying to cover it up.


@Varzandeh: I'm not sure how that story relates to my dream. In the dream I got the tat to get well (yes, crazy I know. Acupuncture? lol) not because I wanted to look tough or hot or whatever.

At first I said the dream is about learning something.Also your back is a symbol of someone who supports you Like a bf or someone else.
This story is said about the endeavors and pains that learning needs or endeavors and pains being moral or religious needs.
Am I clear?
