I have been having some weird dreams lately, they have all been different except for one thing. No matter what I am dreaming about I keep having run ins with a "Pit Viper" as it is called. Sometimes it chases me, sometimes it appears out of no where but everytime it does catch me and bite me and leaves me in pain. Everyone in my dream doesn't seem to be affected by it either. I cant recall ever hearing of a pit viper but did google it and it is a real snake. Normally this kind of stuff never would bother me but no matter what it always comes back. Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated
Thanks Pat |

Snake is interpreted as a hidden enemy, if dreamt a snake at home means one of the family members will do something annoying. If it was in a desert means an stranger enemy. If dreamt he was fighting with a snake means he will quarrel with a rival or an enemy. If the snake bit him means that person will overcome him .If he killed the snake means he will overcome the person. If dreamt he was eating snake flesh means he will receive some dignity and rank or if he is suitable perhaps a lordship. If one dreamt he cut a snake in two parts means he will have the enemy's money. If one dreamt a dead snake means he will be safe from a calamity. If dreamt he took a white or gray snake in hand means he will receive some greatness. If dreamt the snake ran away from him means his enemy is weak.If dreamt about many black snakes means he has many rivals or enemies. If dreamt about a green snake means his enemy is pious and honest. If it was yellow means his enemy is an ill person or a doctor. If the snake was red means his enemy is sociable. If dreamt there were snakes around him means his family and relatives are his enemies. If dreamt there was coming out a snake from his mouth or nose or ear or hissex organ or his anus means his child is his enemy. If he took a snake but it didn't bit and he wasn't hurt means he will have some dignity and will overcome the enemy and will achieve his wish.Snake may also mean : 1- hidden enemy 2- life 3- health 4- kingdom 5- lordship 6- a woman 7- a wish 8- a son 9- a flood.
if dreamt there was a hole or pit in a mount means he will understand a secret of the governorship. If dreamt he took something out of the hole means he will have a gift from the government. If dreamt there was a hole on the ground means someone will be aware of his secret. If dreamt there was a hole on his body and was bleeding means he will have a loss. If dreamt his belly was pierced means he will disappointed from his wife. If dreamt he was piercing a stone means his belief is stable and strong. If dreamt was piercing a brick means his belief is unstable and weak or a loss. If one dreamt a cow got out of a hole and couldn't get in again means he will say something that can't compensate.

Reoccurring dreams are usually trying to tell you something. My advice is that when you wake up from one of these dreams try to feel where the real pain is. I'm sure your dreams are caused by a real stinging pain somewhere in your body - probably in your legs. My guess is you have some cramps in your legs during sleep. The dream is trying to get rid of the cramp by making you move your legs - when that does not work the snake bites you. There must be a residual pain somewhere in your body after you wake up. If you find out where the pain is then its up to you what to do about it. Cheers Wolfjk

I think I May have figured out some of it, recently my girlfriend and I have broken up, we have been living together and she has not moved out and that is eating at me. I think she may be the snake and the biting might be the emotional pain i am going through. Cause there is nothing worse than being literally next to the one you love and yet be alone at the exact same time.

Psychological pain is just as bad -can be even worse - than physical pain. However tension caused by your situation can cause real physical pain. I hope you sort out your problems. Cheers Wolfjk

Me thinks that you have certainly solved your dream. Snakes often symbolise bad emotions and bad emotional atmospheres.. and this is a classic dream.. ------------------------ People expect too much from dream dictionaries. Can you really expect a dream dictionary to provide an explanation of what your dream means simply because it included a particular symbol? It’s an absurd suggestion. The best comparison is to expect someone what a sentence means by just giving them one word within it. For instance to ask someone what a sentence means that includes the word "soldier". In reality the process in almost impossible. There are so many different ways that the word can be used that interpreting the dream just by spotting one word within it is simply ridiculous. The word soldier can be used in many different ways such as "I need to soldier on", "we have not got enough soldiers in Iraq", and "I want to be a soldier when I grow up". So why do people expect a dream interpreter to be able to simply understand a dream by the inclusion of one symbol. In practice dream symbolism work in much the same way as ordinary dictionaries. A soldier can represent themselves but they can also be used in a wider context to show the types of qualities that a soldier exhibits (toughness and the ability to endure hardship and follow rules). So think how anyone of those symbolic meanings relates to recent events. It’s really important to use a process of association. Associate the dream symbol with real life thoughts. First ask yourself if the symbol could represent itself. Did you think of any real life soldiers the day before? But also consider the qualities that soldier’s exhibit. Did those same qualities have any relevance the day before? Did you need to follow rules and be disciplined? Did the same seem like a constant struggle? Also consider the day to come and see how that relates to possible symbolic meanings. Did you resolve to soldier on in some difficult situation? Work though all the symbols in the same way and see what real life issues can best fit the real situation in your life. But also consider telepathy and premonitions as they too are part of the many aspects of dreaming.
