Help... You could save my current relationship Ex Resentment Dream 2 weeks in a row

Hi So this is how it all started i'm a casual conversation with my boyfriend i asked if his heard me talk or make sexual noises in my sleep (it's been happenin since i was a teen now 21) he was like yea, i laughed and said welcome to my world, then he was like u talk too, he said i said someones name and moaned after.
So i asked and asked who's name it was, he wouldnt say. I finally said was it an ex name, he said he didnt know and so went through acouple of name and he picked out one. i told him about the dream....

That i was in a club at the city my ex lived in europe partying it up with my current boyfriend, and he sees me walks up to me and i don't regonise him or remember him. He continues to insist that we belong together but i still don't know him then all of a sudden i start slapping him, then it turns into my punching him, till someone cares me out and it repeats and repeats all in one night till i wake myself... i found it to be a nightmare.
And the thing is i dont think about my e at all the last contact we had was over a month ago when he called to 'double check if i was happy with my choice of a man, when he can love me better' I told him wasn't interested because i'd finally found a guy thats for me. The truth is i'm with a wonderful smart that I'm falling in love with my boyfriend and all i have is contempt for my ex, cause he owe me thousands but with all that past to one side, I've never been so happy. But my boyfriend thinks that i might still have strong feelin for my ex because of sayin his name and a moan while asleep twice in two weeks and I'm afriad he'll start to distant himself.
Plaese help im so confused, all advise will help.

Hi, it also happened to me. I also don't have an explanation why that happens, maybe it's because our brain retain memories of them and they randomly send it back when we sleep. If you are not comfortable with it and thinks that your current boyfriend might think bad of it, just be open to him and tell him that it's nothing. Tell him that you are just assuring him that past is past and there's no way that you are going back to that again.
