What does it mean?
It is the 3rd time I have had this dream within the last couple of weeks, although this last time, my father was in it. I am in a room staning on a bed and on a dresser. There are a couple of large alligators that i am trying to fight off. They do not injure me but they try to snap at me. I am scared and feel in danger so I try to fight them off while my dad is typing on a computer in the same room, not worried at all. Anyone? |

To see an alligator in your dream, symbolizes treachery, deceit, and hidden instincts. It may be a signal for you to take a new perspective on a situation. It may also represent your ability to move between the material world of waking life and the emotional, repressed world of the unconscious. Alternatively, the alligator represents healing powers and qualities.
To see your father in your dream, symbolizes authority and protection. It suggests that you need to be more self-reliant. Consider also your waking relationship with your father. To see a computer in your dream, symbolizes technology, information, and modern life. New areas of opportunities are being opened to you. Alternatively, computers also represent a lack of individuality and non expression of emotions and feelings. Too often you are just going along with the flow, without voicing your own opinions and views. You may also feel a depreciated sense of superiority. To dream that you are in the bedroom, signifies aspects of your self that you keep private. It is also indicative of your sexual nature and intimate relations. |

well try to see the story from various viewpoints and see if they have relevance in your life right now... for instance does your father seem oblivious to things that are scaring you? Alligators can stand for dangerous emotional waters... do you feel as if you may easily get into trouble with your father.. ? as if he is the threat taht the alligator represents?

unclesir,
Alligators represent ancient creatures that have been around for many years. In dreams they are symbolic of obstacles that have been getting in your way for some time now, but obstacles that have been around in the family for a long time(hence ancient). Those obstacles could be sickness that runs in the family, divorce rates, struggling with a certain addiction, family tendencies that are unhealthy, etc. Has there been something you have noticed you've been trying to "fight off" and resist, also aware that nobody else in your family is paying careful attention to? Just some thoughts...God bless!! Hespeaksindreams
