Multiple dreams about rising water/drowning

The first dream I had was about a week ago.
A male friend and I were babysitting about 6 kids on a lake house (the kind that sit on the water and held up by big stilts) I have never seen this house or these kids in my life but in the dream I knew them. We were sitting in the living room talking and the kids were playing and a loud siren started going off outside. My friend looked out the window and the water was going crazy and the wind was blowing really hard. He siad we all needed to go upstairs to the highest room in the house. We walked up two sets of stairs into what seemed to be a small attic. My friend kept trying to keep the kids calm and I was crying because I knew the house would soon collapse. It seemed like we were in the attic for a long time and we kept hearing water and debri hit the house. Finally a huge crash sounded and the house fell into the water. We tried to get out of the room before it filled up with water but there was a lot of stuff blocking the door and the windows and we were stuck. Then somehow a bunch a dead bodies started coming in and were floating around us. I started drowning and then I woke up.

The second dream was two nights ago..
My best friend and I were walking in a little town or village (again, a place I have never seen before) and we were just talking. All of a sudden we looked over to our right at a big body of water and a huge amount of water started coming up onto the land. Next thing I knew, we were swept off our feet and we were seperated from each other. Then I started drowning and woke up.

If someone could please tell me why I'm having these dreams about drowning and how these two friends are significant in my dreams.

Hi Krista,
I think the two dreams you describe here are both about created round something you seen on the TV about tsunamis.
The reason for the dreams could be that you have some breathing difficulties in sleep. Perhaps you had a cold and cough, but it is also possible that you have sleep apnea. It is a condition where you stop breathing for 1 or 2 seconds in sleep and gasp for air. There are sleeping aids to ease the condition.

The kids if girls mean some blessing is on the way.
Huge body of water means a good deal of money is on the way, in a way.
If a house collapsed means the same a good money is on the way.
Crying if in tears means happiness from God and laughing.
Dead bodies means a few ignorant people around you.
