Seeing lightning strike and then hit you

I had a dream today that I was in a car, going to the supermarket with my girlfriend. As we were arriving to the supermarket lightning started to strike pretty bad. We parked. I was very fearful of lightning striking on us so I insisted we should probably wait out in the car until the lightning storm would pass. I don't think it was raining in the dream but I do think the floor was wet... Anyway, my girlfriend assured me though that we'd be fine, so we got out of the car and started approaching the supermarket. As we did that I saw lightning strike pretty close, and either the a part of the bolt or a piece of metal it hit and destructed went screeching towards me. It hit me in the back, I felt in the dream a burning sensation and then I woke up. I woke up pretty shaken up and I felt a strange sensation in my back. Eventually I calmed down. But it wasn't a pleasant dream to be awoken from.

Wondering if anyone knows what this dream may mean. I have read a few interpretations already on this and it seems some people relate lightning with enlightenment, luck and the like. I wonder if the context here changes it. Any interpretations are welcomed.

You probably experienced a sharp pain in your side or back sometime in your life. When you'ar asleep and get one of those it is your dream that tells you what happened. Your dream is simply telling you what happened in the sleep. This dream probably happened in a fraction of a second, althogh it is like fully fledged story.

it seems some people relate lightning with enlightenment

They must be the people who live in the dark!

Lightning is interpreted as a treasurer or a judge that condemns a covetous person.****** I think this is your case an unfair verdict about you.
If one dreamt he took a lightning from the sky means he will do something that has a goodness.
If dreamt the lightning was shine means a year of blessing specially if there was a mild wind too.
Lightning or electricity may also mean 1- a treasurer 2- a bad promise 3- reproach 4- blessing 5- a true way of life.

Was the pain pushing your back up into an arched position? Did it feel like someone was jamming their thumb harsh into your back? You may be clearing some blocked energy within your body. This can push your body into strange positions and can by a symptom of awakening. Your mind could have just thrown the dream together because it was feeling the pain in your back.

Hm, I don't recall this ever being an issue for me. But I do have to admit it may have been under some stress lately.

This interpretation makes a lot of sense. Perhaps the best answer I have seen to interpretations. Too bad... I thought I was going to gain some sort of super power soon. Watching too much Heroes lately

What is the "accountancy" ?
