Default Dreamt of a dead deer...

Well, I had quite the strange one last night and it was followed by some bad news this morning...

In my dream, all I can clearly remember was that my family had killed a deer and brought it up into a summer house we were renting on a getaway. Then they took metal wire and strung the deer up through its legs by the wires upside down and left it there. No skinning, no cooking, just a dead deer hanging from wires. I stepped outside without a second thought then woke up.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the only animal to die that night. I woke up to find my terrier dead in his pen outside, supposedly from Parvo or Parvo-ish symptoms. Is there anyway this dream and the untimely death of my dog have anything to do with each other? Or was that just a coincidence and the dream is supposed to mean somthing else? I'm not big on the whole dream prediction deal, but that kind of struck me. Thanks in advance.

If one dreamt that without going for hunt had a deer means he will have sex with a virgin girl.If dreamt hunted a deer means he will receive a windfall. If dreamt a deer was dead in his house means he will have a sorrow for his wife.If dreamt he threw a stone or an arrow to a deer means he will say a rude word to a woman. If dreamt he cut a deer throat means he he will have sex with a virgin girl.If dreamt he cut a deer throat from the back of the neck means he will have anal sex.If dreamt skinned a deer means he will have sex with a stranger woman. If dreamt he had some deer skin or flesh or fat means he will receive some money from a woman. If dreamt he killed a deer means he will have a sorrow for a woman. If dreamt he had a deer child means he will have a child.Deer may also mean : 1- a woman 2- a child 3- benefit from a woman.
Good luck to you

Yes that is a remarkable conicidence. I do study dreams and most dreams are simply linked to things that have just happened. But I like yourself have noticed times when remarkable coincidences have occured. Here there is no direct link since the dream did not feature your dog dying. Yet in real life your dream did match in that a dead body was now within the home. It replaced one symbol with another. The pet was presumably a DEAR(DEER) and loved member of the household. Perhaps that little play on words is the meaning of the metaphor.

Personally I have noticed a major link between dream predictions and the actual day of the dream. Sometimes its a major event predicted but usually its just some normal everyday occurence. Something that simply may stick in your mind. Many times I see connections yet if you took the dream to a scientist they would deny any connection. But YOU and OTHERS notice these little connections. It maybe is the case that we can truly see into the near future. To me thats not a big deal. After all scientists who study the nature of time and study the universe believe that there are multiple versions of the universe. That everytime some random event occurs a new version of the universe is created. Ask yourself who has the craziest ideas?

------------------------
Dreams appear very real. We see, we think and we feel. Why is this? Well one idea is that this links to the mind and the way we use neural networks within it. We build up connections within a brain. Let’s take a practical example - learning to paint. Art is a difficult subject to learn well. We may pick up different techniques and each time something works well we store that in our brains. We may say to ourselves "the way that I used my brush really worked that time". So we reinforce certain ways of thinking. So the neural networks associated with those ways of thinking are reinforced too.

Dreams maybe appear real because we are trying to reinforce certain neural firings within the brain. So that when we are trying to motivate ourselves then we maybe visualize success because that reinforces the areas of our brain that deal with motivation. We detect a need to be more motivated and so we actually live out those motivations. In the same way sometimes we need to draw back. We maybe are acting in a risky way. Therefore our dreams may emphasize some negative ways of thinking. They maybe play out some worst possible scenario as a way of reinforcing the need for caution. So dreams can be described a consciousness of sorts. We need to actually experience things as real in order to reorder the brain. If we are too positive then we are perhaps deflated in our thinking. If we are too negative then maybe our dreams give us a push. They help us experience happiness as a way of reshaping our feelings.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, Verzandeh, I already had a look at the DDA, and it is a bit hard to understand. Also, none of the events listed matched anything I could figure. The closest thing I could match to was sorrow for my wife. I myself am only 18 and unmarried, so that's impossible. I really sensed the moment I had that dream that something was wrong with Jack, and much to my dismay, I was right... Thanks anyways, and especially thank you unclesirbobbyronson.

In some strange way if we have a dream about someones death then it can help us. Even though its a major loss. I know I woke up once and sensed something/someone was in the room. I even spoke to the presence. Next day I found out that my gran had died at virtually exactly the same time.

-----------------------------
Dreams feature symbols that are very general. A fight for instance will symbolise some struggle or frustration that you are facing in real life. We all face struggles in life and only the dreamer can pinpoint the exact meaning of the dream. A politician struggles to get his views accepted. A sportsman struggles with an injurey that is affecting his performance. What you must do is find your own truth within the dream. Think about the day before and think about the things on your mind recently. Then you will realise what the truth of the dream is. You will realise what this very general message means. The dream brings your emotions to life but often within a storyline that is nonsensical. But those emotions felt in the dream are very real. They may be about your life in general but then again it maybe about something very specific. Sometimes the struggles and fights depicted within a dream may surprise you if correctly interpreted. They may be linked to something that you would not expect to have a dream about. Many dreams maybe about seemingly mundane matters. But most daily issues at the time are extremely important(at the time).
