Hello Everyone!
Lately, I've been having dreams that i am pregnant. Seems simple enough...but, it's really odd. In the dreams, i am pregnant and in the hospital in a special ward of some sorts for when women are giving birth prematurely. I'm confussed in the dream and scared and keep telling the nurses that the baby is comming and they need to hurry. It always ends up that my "water" breaks and then there is no baby at all .just the water, and then the dream switches to another "scene" and i am recovering in the ward with my fiance by my side. I usually wake up at this point, so, there is no explanation in the dream itself as to why there is no baby and only "water". **A little insight that i can see, is that i've been diagnosed with secondary infertility a year ago. It was devastating to find out that we can only concieve through IVF, which we have decided to hold off on for a few more years. But i'm happy with no children right now, and i don't see why i would be dreaming of pregnancy at this time.. Has anyone here had such an odd dream like that??? If anyone has any insight, i would love to hear it!!

I think, first of all, you are reassuring yourself you are not ready for kids yet... after all, you are in the ward for women with "premature" babies. It is premature of you to consider pregnancy at this stage in your life. But you are worried and scared... of course you are because of your diagnosis. You want to have children someday. So you give birth to nothing... because you are not ready.

Hi,
Usually pregnancy means a good deal of money on the way as much as the belly was big and baby water also means money on the way. But your interpretation about the not fertilising is correct. Good luck.

I think melvincats has hit on something here. I also get a sense of self-reassurance in your dream. However, I also feel a as if there is a hint of anxiety about the future. It sounds like you're pushing to the back of your mind some residual anxiety about your diagnosis. Your mind is asking you to deal with it.

I think you are both very right. Again, thank you for the insights, it is much appreciated. I dreamt last night again that i was pregnant and going into labor...this time, i actually gave birth to a premature baby boy. I seen him in an incubator, then i was wheeled away in a wheel chair down a long hall and a janitor was there at the end........he walked away from me and left his pail there and i was looking into the pail..seeing my reflection. I felt peaceful.....not scared or sad.

Hi,
Giving birth to a baby boy means a sorrow or an illness. Being on a wheelchair means a business travel on the way. A pail means your mother in law or another server. Your reflection means a baby girl just like you. Good luck.
