Default A dream about my youngest son (7/10/07)

I had a dream that my youngest son had been hanging around with his former primary school friend, Billy. Background information: Billy was nothing but trouble and my son tried many times to disengage from the friendship. Unfortunately, the problem reached a climax and my son ended up getting into trouble along with Billy. Consequently, when it came to choosing a secondary school for our son, we made sure our first choice was not the one Billy was destined to go to which is where his older brother already was. Thankfully our prayers were answered and our son got into our first choice of school.

So, last night, in my dream, much to my dismay, our son had been hanging around with Billy and doing that ended up causing problems for him. Firstly, I went outside only to see my son had painted his face with both blue and red colours. Unfortunately, he didn't use face-paint but his artist paint. I said he'd need to scrub it off. While talking with him about scrubbing his face, he missed the taxi that took him to the bus stop for school. So he and I ran together to the next taxi pick-up point where we saw a sink. He began scrubbing his face and using not the usual blue but red paper towels. He wasn't having much success and I said he had no choice but to go to school with his face painted.

Then I noticed his school bag was missing and asked where he'd left it. He said it was outside our house. I was really cross with him for being so careless about his belongings (not for the first time).

Then I was woken by the alarm.
