i was in some sort of school auditorium where the most beautiful indian woman i had ever seen was performing with her rattlesnake, a kind of new age snake charmer performance. the snake was a light shade of green and i didn't even realize it was a rattlesnake until i saw the rattle, at which point i became frightened.
just as the woman was telling us that the snake was perfectly harmless, it started to act violently, and as she was trying to calm it down, (apparently stroking its underbelly calms it down), it lunged at her and though it missed, i could see a clear drop of venom falling to the floor from the missed attack. after this point, the snake seemed to calm down so she brought it closer to the audience. when she came to me, the snake lunged at me. i tried to stroke its belly to clam it down but it bit me. at first the woman and i both thought it was a scratch but then we realized that the snake had bitten me so hard one of its fangs was lodged in my hand. she was so sorry and though i was upset, i was more upset about those i was leaving behind and made the woman promise to look after my mother. i waited to die, but it took a while and the last thing i remember was an incredible kind of pain shooting up my arm at which point i knew i was going to die. note: this isn't the first time i've died in a dream before but the snake part really throws me off. any possible interpretations? |

Many dreams are linked to how the dream mind or subconscious stiores thoughts and thought processes. Snakes is just another way of the brain saying "problem" or "trap" or "jealousy"
Try to establish a link to something that happened the day before(a key moment for dreams). ------------------------ Dreams are fascinating but maybe its best not to delve too deeply into their meanings and seek advice. Try not to rely on them as dreams are notoriously difficult to interpret. Yet they do tend to concentrate on recent events and new feelings. You should be able to spot the formation of your own conceptual emotions(with some practice).Deeply hidden inside a dream is some conception perhaps to the previous day. Some slight change in your own thoughts (so concentrate on those changes and see if they maybe featured in the dream). The main fascination of dreams is how they link to the storage and formation of conceptual feelings. Conceptual feelings must be stored in the brain and perhaps the dreams that we have show how we store such ideas. Instead of using the word STRUGGLE the dream mind instead uses a situation involving a struggle. Instead of using the phrase "closer and closer" the dream mind instead uses the symbol of golf where the object is to get closer and closer to some eventual aim (to pot the ball). Instead of trying to interpret your dreams just go to your own conceptual feelings and then see what recent thoughts could feature in your reams. Say some argument or situation from the day before. Maybe your dream could link to some task or issue about to be faced on the actual day of the dream?
