Race on a hill.

OK, so I'm running up a very steep hill. There are thousand of other people running up too, it feels as if it's a race. I'm amongst the fastest people, and as I turn to look behind me, I see that people have fallen over, so I run back and pick them up. Obviously, this is slowing me down, but I continue to carry more and more people --I think on my back, but I was carrying so many that it would be impossible. Just before we reached the top of the hill or the "end of the race", all the people that I'd carried gathered their energy and ran and beat me, without thanking me. I came last and I felt extremly annoyed, but I didn't say anything to anybody.

Does this mean anything? xx
