Need help with these recurring nightmares/dreams

I don't know why, but I keep having recurring nightmares about something happening to one of my kids. Specifically my youngest one.

First, I dreamt that my youngest son, who is 2 yrs old), unbuckled himself from his car seat and started hanging his head out of the car window, waving at the cars going by. When I realized he wasn't in his seat, I screamed his name and and then he fell out of the car and was run over by my own car (which was being driven by my mother). She quickly stopped the car and I ran out to try and help him. He was running around the streets screaming but he was alive.

In my next dream, ( a few days later), I dreamt that I was running from people in my past that were trying to kidnap both my kids and trying to kill me.


Then I dreamt my son was in the back of my car and the back door opened and he fell out the car.

Finally, last night, I dreamt that I was somewhere and my husband was holding my son and suddenly he screamed his name and started shaking him because he was non-responsive.

Also, my mother dreamt that I had a baby and I had put him in a bath tub for her to shower the baby and when she turned on the lights, the baby was electrocuted.

I'm really concerned. what is going on???? why all of these sudden dreams regarding some type of danger to my children.

Someone please help.

I am not an expert at all, but I am a mother of 3! A few things maybe. Young mothers have such a deep love for there children that maybe your subconscious is on overdrive!! Its just such a great fear for us when we worry so much about them. Has anyone been criticizing you about your parenting skills? And last, are you worried about how others are taking care of your children? These are just some ideas, hope this helps. Good luck...Lala

Thanks Lala. This makes some sense to me because I do have an overbaring love for both my kids. It could very well be as you said that my subconscious is on overdrive. Its just weird that they are so sudden and frequent. All these dreams happened in less than a week.

Sorry for the bad news but having a baby boy means a sorrow or an illness again, washing him means trying to cure the problem but electrocuted means a bad judgement is on the way, it won't be fair.
