Question Someone is moving me

This was THREE horrible dreams I had early this morning. I fell like I'm waking up, when I feel myself sliding off of the bed. I try to wake up then, but can't. I think to myself that my husband will hear me when I fall on the floor. Instead I kind of float down to the floor. Now I feel like this isn't right. I get pushed under my bed and out the other side. Then I get pushed almost into my dresser before I get lifted back into my bed and wake up.

I drifted off again, and immediately it happened again. I'm trying to shout for my husband, but nothing is coming out. This time I am pushed off the foot of my bed and around the floor, lifted back into bed, and wake up.

I really should have just gotten up for the day then, but I fell back asleep. This time I heard someone knocking at our door. I thought my husband wil get it this time. Then I heard the back door open and shut, and footsteps to our bedroom. Whoever it was I didn't open my eyes. I reached under the covers for my husband and grabbed his finger and sqeezed tight. Then I realized it wasn't my husbands finger, it was the persons standing by the bed. I tried really hard to yell for my husband but could not. The person walked away and I woke up.

This really freaked me out. I should note that I have dreams on a fairly regular basis where my mind is awake and I have to wake my body up.

The house you are living might be haunted. I'm not sure but the way you are telling here as if I feel there is spirit. I heard about this a true story.

I'm sure the house is haunted in some form, it is a grand old house built in 1917, but its always just been seeing something out of the corner of our eyes, or a strange feeling in our living room. More like past lives still in our house in a different era that are not aware that we are here, like we are not fully aware of them. Iknow that probably makes no sense. It has NEVER felt scary or threatening though, like this felt. This was horrible. I'm going to have a very hard time falling asleep tonight.

Hi Nicole
If you think your house is haunted your subconscious will use it dreams to try and wake you.
In your post you are describing typical sleep paralysis dreams. The dream is caused by you lying on your back and obstructing your own breathing. The dream is actually frightening you awake.
However there might be some reason why it is difficult for you to wake in the morning. You probably work too hard and have late nights. However overweight is a common cause. The habit of sleeping on your back and putting your hands across your chest, clasping them over your head, or sleeping on your belly could also cause the dreams.
I am sure you can safely discount any ghosts, they exist only in some peoples mind.
Cheers Wolfjk

I actually sleep on my side because I have back problems, and I physically cannot sleep on my back. I do work hard and have a stressful life though. It was just very scary and real feeling

Hi Nicole,
Thanks fo your feed back. You should relax a bit more. In sleep we move about a lot in a six or eight hour sleep. We would all finish up with bed soars if we slept in the same position all night long. You may start out sleeping on your side but after some time - about 90 minutes your dream moves you orturns you over, so sometimes you may finish up sleeping on your back and that is probably when these scary dreams happen.

The above quote from your dream seem to indicate that you were sleeping on your back as you are looking up at a standing figure.

Hearing knocks, voices and footsteps are quite common in dreams, especially near morning, or the first 1/2 hour after going to sleep. They are part of the waking process.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
How about three short prayers?
In the name of God, the beneficent, the Merciful.

1. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn.
2. From the evil of what He has created,
3. And from the evil of the utterly dark night when he comes,
4. And from the evil of those who blow on knots,
5. And from the evil of the envious when he envies.

(The men)
In the name of God, the beneficent, the Merciful.
1. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
2. The king of men,
3. The God of men,
4. From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Satan),
5. Who whispers into the hearts of men,
6. From among the jinn and the men.

In the name of God
2-All praise is due to God , the Lord of the worlds.
3-The beneficent, the Merciful.
4-Master of the Day of Judgement.
5-Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help.
6-Keep us on the right path.
7-The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors.
Not the path of those upon whom Thy wrath
is brought down, nor of those who go astray.
Please whisper several times when you are going to bed.
Good luck.
