I just had this dream last night that has been haunting me all day. I close my eyes and I see these images from the dream and I can't stop thinking about it. It wasn't a nightmare in that it didn't make me feel afraid, but afterwards I couldn't go back to sleep.
The dream: It starts off with me leading a troupe to this white door, the troupe is friends and family behind me but I'm the only one with a weapon and combat boots. I open the door and know that the end of the world is happening behind me so I have to get everyone across this LONG dining hall/ballroom hall to a door on the other side. Here's the freaky part, the whole hall is filled with sticky half-formed, defected baby chickens that died in the the shell. It's a bloody, yolk-y, smelly hall. It doesn't frighten me, but it makes me sick and each step across the floor I can hear and feel the soft bones and crunchy shells under my boots and the slippery feel of bloody yolks making it an unsteady walk. There's a skylight in the very middle of the room and the sky red beyond the windows which are streaked with bloody yolk and eggshells. I feel alone and sick the whole time even with everyone behind me. I woke up before I could make it to the door. So, um, some help or something would be great because the dream was vivid. Really freaky. |

Hi,
I hate those kinds of dreams that hang with you for days!! What comes to mind when I read yours was, Chickens would probably represent the beginning of life, and perhaps the blood representing death of this life? Maybe concerns not so much of your salvation, but your friends and family? Just a thought, I'm not any kind of expert!! Good luck!! Lala |
