defending the underdog
Dream about a girl in some educational type establishment, is persecuted by peers because is intelligent in an understated sort of way. My role in it seems to be to come to her defense and articulate the disparity and the injustice. There is no clear resolution - it seemed to be ongoing. My question is: does this refer to parts of myself or is this to be interpreted more externally in terms of the protagonists? I cannot fathom the symbology of it. Any comments appreciated.

re: protecting those under threat
This could be perceived as an inner dialogue. Some part is seeing an outward threat - from an external source, rather than a more literal interpretation.
In any case, is this suggestive of any real oppression? or is it indicative of something else?
