Hysterically Funny Dream

I dreamed that there were some people in a line. They were all dressed in white robes and were carrying something but I don't remember what. They appeared to be women as they had long blonde hair. All of a sudden something happened and they scattered in every direction. I saw myself viewing this and when they scattered, I thought it was the funniest thing I ever saw. I mean fall down on the floor, roll around, side-splitting funny. I laughed so hard I woke myself up. In a few moments after awaking I was overcome with the deepest sadness I've ever felt since my dad died. I tried to keep control over this emotion thinking that my life is fantastic; everything is going well; I have no business feeling so sad. But it did not stop me from feeling so blue. I could not stop crying for several minutes. I don't normally remember my dreams or even remember dreaming most times.

A few weeks ago I had a similar type of dream but I was walking with my father, who died in 1986. He told me a joke that again caused me to laugh hysterically. The laughing woke me and in a few moments I was buried by this incredible sadness and I cried for several minutes. Needless to say having this type of dream is very unsettling to me. I can't find any of the symbolism in the dictionary and I can't seem to find anyone here who may have a similar experience. Any ideas? Thanks.

You are right laughing hystrically in the dream is a symbol that means you will cry later.
