My bf had the following dream. He is in the woods with an older man who is wearing a lumberjack coat (red and black plaid) who is a mentor of sorts. They are discussing living off the land and the older man shows my bf a pile of furs. He describes each fur as he removes it from the pile. The last fur is that of a white cat and the fur is folded in half. The older man pours a bucket of water on the cat fur and the cat starts to take the shape of a live cat. The cat suddenly takes a huge shuddering breath and returns to life. The cat walks over to my bf and my bf pets him on the head.
He then woke up.
Any thoughts on what this dream might mean?

White cats in dreams symbolizes difficult times that one is experiencing. Water is the symbol of healing and the flow of life energy so it makes sense that he would see this as the pouring of the life back into the cat.

Possibly, the reanimation of the cat and it coming to your boyfriend symbolizes that a difficult time that he thought was over and done with may be about to come back to him.

A man in a dream is a representation of the masculine, rational side of yourself and an old man represents wisdom.
