Default mouse eats snake

In the dream, I owned a small white mouse in a pet tank (aquarium or something). I fed a large snake to the mouse and the mouse swallowed it alive. I then visited a pet store to buy an owl to feed to the mouse... that's where the dream ended.

Could someone please tell me what this means?

Cheers,

well your dream pits together a mouse and a snake. Thenit puts together a mouse and an owl. There is a common theme runing through here that the dream deals with prey.

Have you been trying to encourage someone that they can dealw tih something that they consider to be very scarey and indeed urn the tables? Has someone been bullying or picking on you and you would like to turn the tables on them

------------------------
A dream will often feature some clue as to the subject of the dream. Look for them. The people in the dream may link to some place or situation. The dream could be about some thought forming in your mind involving that. So a dream about work may simply link to some thought about work. Write down some quotes that capture your feelings at work. For instance - "I do not think John likes the me anymore since I have become more important in the company than him even though he has been here longer". Or "I think my ideas at work have been rejected because of personal reasons". Its such concepts that are the source of our dreams.

Mouse is interpreted as a discord hypocrite woman who is in her heart corrupt but apparently she is chaste and straight. If dreamt he took a mouse means he will marry with such a woman. If dreamt he threw a mouse and killed it means there is a car accident danger. If dreamt there were many mice with a unique color and size gathered in his house means there will be a women party. If dreamt there was a mouse coming out of his nose or ear or anus means he will have a corrupt girl.If dreamt there was coming a mouse out of his throat means he will have a baby boy.Interpretation of rat and mouse is the same.If dreamt there was a mouse in his bed means he wants to have sex with a corrupt woman. If dreamt he was eating mouse flesh means he will receive some money from a woman.

Owl in the dream symbols means a thief , jealous criminal man.If dreamt was fighting with an owl means will fight with someone. If had an owl or someone gave him one means he will overcome a thief. If dreamt was eating owl flesh means will have money from a thief. If dreamt had a little owl means his steward or his page is a thief.

Default i would think

this is what 'i' interpreted from your dream,
that something small will now become bigger in your life, for example how a mouse (something small) is usually eatin by an owl or snake (something bigger) is now reversed stating that something small that you dont really notice is now going to become a bigger part of your life.

Thanks for all your replies. I had this dream after recently reading a contract I received from a publisher. I was worried about the contract and it played on my mind. The publisher is a woman, a retired editor. She seems nice enough, but I had my doubts about some parts of the contract and obviously that worry got into my sleep and made me dream this strange dream. Is it telling me that the contract is good, or bad? Mmmmmmmmmmm ...

I've been worried about this contract. Does the dream mean I can make good on the contract and should not worry about it? Or is it telling me that I should not go through with it?

Maybe the snake represents my wish to avoid problems in the contract???? So could the dream mean I will overcome such problems (eating the snake alive)????

Since the mouse was me (or mine), does the dream mean I will overcome my enemies, a potential thief etc.???

In the dream there was only one mouse, I owned the mouse, and I fed the snake to it.
The owl, which I tried to buy in the dream, was not eaten by the mouse because the dream ended before I could buy the owl.

I'd like also to add that the first time I read the contract, I dreamed that night that I was trapped in a room without a door. Now a week later when I read the contract through again, I had this dream about the mouse, snake, owl. They are two separate dreams, but both dreamt after I read that contract before going to sleep. My subconscious has got to be trying to tell me something, warning me or advising me about something.

Hi again,
I should add that being trapped means being deceived.
Usually dreams happen after a month or two. There no way except wait to see what is on the way.
Here is some more info:

Dream language interpretation is an ancient science of allusions and pointing of the surrounded environment, as Mr. Einstein has said the events are like train stations which exist and we are moving towards them, these are prewritten destiny with some authority ( in decision making seconds) in very full details. This dream language should be translated, and interesting to know it is international and common for all human beings. But ignorance causes some misunderstanings.People were not aware of this language and always thought in a bad way , for example Mr. Freud said about sexual dreams it is because you have suppressed your sexual desires so misled everybody and some women dreamt about having sex with co-workers or another and thought they should do that, while it only meant he will do something for her, or some others dreamt had sex with the same sex and invented homosexual, while it meant the same ,Also some men dreamt his wife had sex with a man and didn't understand or a woman dreamt her partner had sex with a woman and didn't' understand ...etc.Do you see what catastrophes are caused by misunderstanding a language. About the approximate interpretation time table: Dreams at noon or exactly at midnight( In the summer time 13 at noon and 1 midnight else at 12)in the same day if past a few minutes, a few days later. Dreams at 10-11 in the morning in 15-30 days later. Also dreams at 3-4 in the evening in 1-2 months .Dreams in the sunset mostly are not truthful and are messed, they have no interpretations, Dreams at 4-5 in the morning in a few days to 2 months some dreams in the holy books( Josef dream of kneeling the sun and the moon and 11 stars)was interpreted after 20 years and other dreams of the Pharaoh's prisoners interpreted in the same day and after 7 years. Dream of Pharaoh about the 7 thin cows and 7 fat cows interpreted from the next year to 14 years. Also dreams in 6th of the month will interpret after 1-2 days, in 9th at the same day, in 10th after 20 days, in 13th after 9 days in 14th after 26 days and in 15th after 3 days, in 16th after 2 days and in 28th ,29th ,30th in the same day, but these are solar (Persian months and you should refer to a calendar or convert them) . Of course there are different kinds of dreams , like messy dreams which have no interpretations or deja vu dreams, or psychological dreams or dreams which are caused by bad food or drinks.

Bibliography:
1- Principles of the dreams, by Daniel the prophet (562-604 B.C) Peace be on him.
2-Divisions of the dreams, by Imam Sadeq peace be on him ( 663-798 A.C).
3- Generals of the dreams, by Mohammad ibn Syrin ( 690 A.C).

Tricky,

In my experience dreams can be difficult to understnad. I would definitely agree that the dream links to the contract that yoiu mention. To me dreams link to conceptual feelings. Saying which conceptual feeling is often difficult.

I do not think that dreams necessarily just warn you. To me dreams link to KEY THOUGHTS and CONCLUSIONS. They are like headlines within your mind.

-----------------------------

I have studied dreams and have put together a dream dictionary at the following page

Dream dictionary - A modern and well researched dream dictionary

It shows the many and varied meanings of dreams symbols. Do not try to rely on simple dream dictionaries. Dreams symbols are like ordinary words in the english language and they have many rich and complex meanings. The dream dictionary attempts to show the real kinds of emotions that they refer to.

Dream symbolism - How to use dream symbols read this page to see how to use dream symbols.

Thanks. I think that most of the time (for me anyway) dreams are simply a symbolic reflection of concerns during waking hours.

I think these two dreams are probably just my unconscious fears/worries showing up in the language of dream about the contract, and not necessarily prophetic in any way. I know my own mind and although I've had what I call "prophetic" dreams before, I more often than not dream about my immediate worries instead, as I think most people do.
