Dreamt my Left Eye Fell Out

I had a dream last night that I got cut on my arm somehow, and then my left eye fell out of my head. I felt no pain from the cut or from my eye, but was left with a black hole for an eye socket. There wasn't anything dripping or falling out of the socket, just a skeletal looking black hole.

I went to the ER with my eye in hand and they put it on ice until they finished stitching the cut. When it was time to put my eye back into the socket, the nurse told me the doctor had accidentally dropped and kicked it across the floor so it had to stay at the hospital to be sanitized. For the next three days I walked around without an eye. I trudged through snow with my mother to get to school, I went on a roller coaster, and hung out with my boyfriend ... who assured me that the gaping hole in my head looked just fine, and it would be fixed soon enough.

After the three day sanitation period, I returned to the Hospital and the nurse popped my eye back in the socket, and I went on as usual.

Any idea what in the world this might mean?
