Default Raping and killing

This is a re-post. No one replied to the original post. Please, someone...let me know what this means. It has been bothering me for a month.

This is the weirdest dream I have ever had:

I was with my boyfriend and we kidnapped a prostitute and a dead old lady. My boyfreind raped the prostitute while I raped the old lady. Ok. Seriously weird and nothing that I would ever ever ever do!!! And nothing he would ever do!! Besides...eeeeew!! So like...in the dream, I don't fully recall raping this dead old woman, but I know I did. My boyfriend bragged about raping this other girl and blowing her head off. He wanted me to go into the bedroom to look at "all the gore" he produced. I don't know what he did with her after he killed her. In my dream, I remember taking chopped up body parts to the dumpster in trash bags and throwing them away like nothing ever happened, and I know it was my doing. It was so weird. I remember that it was as if I were feeling what that old lady was feeling even though she was dead....it was horrible. I could feel breathe on my skin...violation...pain. But it was as if I were the one that was dead. I had no remorse in my dream. All I cared about was if I was caught by the cops. I remember the immense fear I felt about being caught. They were in hot pursuit of me and I was constantly trying to keep my cool and pretend I felt horrible about it and pretended to help all I could and know nothing. At the end of my dream, the cops had dug into the dumpster and found the bags of human remains. I saw them doing it from the window of my home and I knew it was all over for me. I knew that they would come to take saliva, vaginal fluid, and blood samples from me. I somehow went ahead and took these samples myself and went outside and handed them to them and that was that. I don't know what happened to my boyfriend in this dream. Throughout the entire process of this dream, I woke up several times. Maybe three times. Each time I woke, my heart was pounding and I was afraid. When I finally drifted back off to sleep, the dream continued. Then I would wake up again and be relieved that it wasn't real, but I would go to sleep again and it would go on. It was so graphic and detailed. I remembered what everyone looked like. I remember what everything smelled like. I remember all the tiny details about the house, the yard, the porch, the dumpster, the woman. I even remember her name...it was horrible. This is nothing like me. I don't know why I dreamt something this horrible. I am embarrassed to tell anyone about it. My boyfriend, my counselor, my closest friend. I am afraid they will think I am a lunatic. I would think that if someone told me a dream like that. Then again, maybe I wouldn't since I have dreamed something this horrific.

I have been dreaming quite graphic dreams since I can remember. Even as a child. Gory, terrible, manacing things. It is really off and on. Most of my graphic dreams involve something to do with rape or other sexual violations. I don't know why. I really don't think this is my subconscious expressing some hidden desires. I don't know what it is. I want to talk to someone about it, but who? Who can help me? Maybe I really am going nuts. I am so scared as to what all of this means. Who am I really?

Default uuuh?

wel that is really creepy, and im really sorry you have to experience that.
what i think it might be is a fear of rape? since ur the one raping the person, yet u can feel it, maybe its a fear of it?
im just guessing since i also have a lot of rape nightmares, but im the one getting raped. my family is right there, aware that im being raped, yet they do nothing about it. its horrible.
so maybe its a fear of getting raped, and the person not even getting caught.
idk just a guess....

Hi,
An old woman means a material chance and raping even with the same sex means to do a favor to someone unknown yet.
A prostitute means a material chance at work.
Chopped body means someone who will have a travel or someone whose family members are scattered around the cities.
Please see the "Sex" and "woman " in the Dream Dictionary Advanced here using search.

Well does your boyfriend open up to you. Maybe the dream is about the need to speak openly about feelings. Do you not like talking graphically about feelings and incidents?

------------------
Many dreams seem so strange that we simply cannot link them with reality. But if we understood the way that the mind works we may be able to make some sense. Occasionally though a dream will come up with symbols that make total sense in terms of our real lives. They may feature people who featured in our thinking the day before. They may feature places where events took place. So we know through these connections that we can safely try to understand the dream. It will be linked to our thoughts about the places and people who appear in the dreams. Or at least we can assume thats the case. If we can make such connections its usually easy to solve the dream. Dreams are about ideas. See what new feelings and conclusions are coming out of your mind. Its likely that if you correctly interpret the dream it will link to these new feelings as they emerge from your mind.

"all the gore"

Sometimes key moments link to reality. Think laterally about this phrase. What comes top mind. Think about the things that happened the day before

------------------------
Many dreams can capture very immediate emotions. If you are feeling despreate when you wake up and you need to immediately go to the toilet then its likely that the dream links to that immediate urge. The dream will in some way capture the urgency and immediate nature of your situation. The dream mind will not be able to concentrate on anything else. Its simply caught up in the moment. The following page details several such dreams.

This is a very important dream. We all dream this sort of nightmarish dream but we dont remember it because we dream it at a very low level of consciousness where strong emotions are needed to raise the level of consciousness. Sometimes during mental stress these kind of dreams surface but it is a very rare occasion. It may be your style of dreaming, however there is remote danger that your dreams and reality merge.
I think you should seek medical advice. There are some medicines that might help you sleep better. Councelling and talking about your dreams will help you.
Cheers Wolfjk

Default Dear ToBeAlone

Your dream is very unusual and full of violence.

I sensed that in your dream you basically "followed your boyfriends needs without questions or remorse". I also think that your boyfriend has great control over your life and basically does whatever he wants. Your dream is about raping, killing and having a necrophiliac attraction, it worries me.

As mention in other posts, it is very difficult to analyze a dream, however; I will try to analyze the behavior in the dream. The prostitute maybe a representation of yourself (AND NO I AM NOT SAYING YOU ARE A PROSTITUTE), it is perhaps how you may feel in this relationship, or how you feel after you are intimate with your boyfriend. The old dead old lady, is what I'm having trouble with, a buried dead old lady is someone that lived a fruitful life, and is view as a paternal figure and buried means that was put to rest in a loving ceremony. A dead old lady, NOT buried, is someone that had a meaningless life, no family, no direction, no one cared. In your dream you chose the "dead lady", instead of the prostitute. The prostitute may have put a fight, or enjoyed the sexual encounter (let me make it very clear NO ONE enjoys been raped... is merely a possible behavior outcome in the dream), however; the dead old lady... she cannot feel anything. She is dead to sex, dead to feelings, dead to the world, she is only an empty vessel, a "something" that was used and discarded. BUT... you described her having feelings although she was dead, and you felt as if you were the victim. Cutting the lady in pieces may represent how you feel, divided and been pulled into different directions.
In your dream you HAVE a great respect for authority and you are afraid of been caught, this puts my mind at ease.. in other words is GOOD. You recognize this behavior as horrendous, something evil and sick. In this dream you are the victim you are the dead old lady and the prostitute. Your dream is a clear cry for help.

Please, take a few hours, days to yourself. Go to a nice quiet place and think first about how wonderful you are, don't think about problems, just you. Write down all of your great qualities, your goals and dream (good dreams). Then write down in another piece of paper all the bad and negative things about you. Take a few minutes to read the negative aspects and ponder about that, when you are done burn the negative piece of paper and keep the good piece of paper, this is you a person with a great potential, and a wonderful life ahead. Think about your relationship, be honest to yourself and with all honestly and truth in your heart write down how you feel and where do you think is going to take you. The answer is in you!

Speak to someone in the clergy or counseling field. I never recommend to speak to friends and family members, experience tells me that although they mean good, their advice is usually bias.

Take care
PMartinez

Default Thanks

Everyone, thanks so much for responding. I have heard many different interpretations on this dream and it all boils down to this: I need to listen very carefully to what my mind is trying to tell me. I don't know what it is, but I need to take time to stop and be mindful of it.
