Question Dog or Wolf runs through me

Help in interpretating.

Dream: I want a dog or wolf to run "straight" to me. I call him and the dog or wolf runs into me and passes through me, between my legs. The dog or wolf is friendly. (I say a dog or wolf because it is a large dog with a big muzzle and big teeth like a large German Shepherd.) It is a male dog. I don't understand why the dog or wolf passed through me instead of stopping when he reached me. So I ask my friend (she is Alaska Native ). She laughs at me thinking it was funny and tells me the dog or wolf did what I asked it to do. End of dream.

FYI: We teasingly have names for each other. I call my friend "Wise Wolf" in her native language and she calls me "Snow Wolf" in her native language.

Hi,
A wolf means a partner and won't stay with you he/she will pass by.

Hi Robin,
Dreams are dreamt to do certain things. Usually the sleeper makes or simulates the movements the dream suggests to get him or her into a different sleeping position.
Although not much movement suggested in your dream, if you use your imagination, there is a part that compels you to move. What would you do if your favourite pet run through your legs? I think you would automaticly turn round and look where he went!
I know the significance native Alskans attach to dream animals, however in this dream the dog or wolf is there to get you into amore comfortable sleeping position.
Cheers Wolfjk

Well many dreams are symbolic representations of current feelings forming in your mind. It may indeed be linked to your friend. Wolves often symbolise faithful allies and people who follow you. They are pack animals. They have leaders and followers. So maybe the dream is indeed linked to some issue involving leadership or loyalty. Did such themese feature in your thoughts the day before the dream. A wish for greater supoort or loyatly or a wish for others to accept and follow your ideas.

But in reality dreams can be quite complex. Think of suituations where you wanted something and as in the dream you got what you wanted but it wasn't exactly what you wanted.

------------------------
Its best to see how dreams relate to certain themes. For instance fighting often links to frustrations and resentments. Instead of trying to make blanket judgments about the dream just see if you can make any loose association with resentful emotions. Were you resentful the day before? Was someone else resentful and frustrated the day before? Just see if you can make any loose association with that word. Also fighting can link to issues where you are really facing a struggle in life. So try to link a dream to struggles. Were you facing a real struggle the day before? Has life been a real struggle recently? Have you been asked to really put more effort into some task? Try to think in a very loose way to link some issue to the dream. If you make a connection then try seeing how the other dream symbols fit the dreams meaning. Dream symbols can have many meanings. Its a matter of working through the various meanings.
