Water in my dreams

Hi...This is my first time here and I would like someone to help me to interpret my dreams. I used to always dream, but for a long time I haven't been dreaming....at all. Now all of a sudden I am dreaming again. I normally would not do this, but I am concerned and confused and I think I need some answers. For the past two nights I have dreamt of water. In the first dream I was in a building about 8 stories high. I took the elevator to the highest floor. When the door opened I stepped onto a plank surrounded by water. As I walked around and there was only one way to go, the water level became higher. I looked around and saw a lot of little kids ranging in ages. When I looked down I could see to the bottom and people were everywhere. Some I knew, others I didn't. I found a child that I knew and held her very close to me because the water was getting higher and higher. I made it to a door and when I opened the door it was pitch dark on the other side. At that point I woke up with my heart racing.

In my next dream, which was the next night, I was at an event with my husband. He ran into a friend of his. I started walking around towards what looked like a giant pool of water. As I got closer the water started to rise. I saw a little girl and picked her up. I turned to look at my husband and him and his friend were yelling at me to come back. I looked out into the pool and saw heavy puffy white clouds. The girl was crying. I tried to get back but couldn't, something was holding me. I finally found something to stand on, but I couldn't move. I woke up feeling very scared.

I would really like it if someone can help me undertand my dreams.

Hi,
Water means money or science because everything is alive with water.
Going up with an elevator means receiving some more dignity is on the way, so much water means some good money is on the way.
Kids if girls mean blessing but if boys mean sorrow.
A pool means a workplace or some collected money or science a little girl means some blessing and happiness on the way.

Thank you V. This makes sense to me in a way. I am out of work and have been searching for about 3 months. Maybe this means I will find a job soon. And my daughter (who is 26) in moving in a month. Could this mean it's a good move for her?

I get the feeling that your dreams about water is more literal and a message about a possible future of the East coast of the US. I suggest keeping a dream journal. You may also want to ask for a clarification and a certain dream quietly in your mind before you go to sleep and don't be surprised if it comes to you within a week in another dream.

Water in most cases in many dream dictionaries I have, represents mental state, emotions, feelings. As a beleiver of Jesus Christ I rarely use outside dream books, water is Holy Ghost, Living Water, Power. The 8 story building shows that your stress level has rizen, if you have children dosen't matter of age, because this girl in your dream could represent your adiult child or grandchild too. I suggest a prayer of thanksgiving to God and of protection for your family will give you the peace you desire. In the bible 8 represents new beginings: 0n the 7th day God rested, cycle starts again what would be day 1 again is really 8 Get it seven days a week. So 8 story building = new beginings, stress or emotions= water, behind the door was black= fear of the unknown.God bless,peace.
