I often have dreams of being in hotels. The situations are always different. Sometimes I am just arriving, sometime searching for a room. Sometimes I am entering my room and it is better or worse than expected. Sometimes odd common things are missing from them, i.e. the door, or the toilet. Any ideas of what this means?

In my experience, the hotel represents a transition period during a time of change. If my room is messy, I know it's a change that has plenty of anixiety for me, if not, then this change is seemless, and I don't have to do much about it. The hotel has also been a place for social occasions, sometimes its uncomfortable social situations, other times, the hotel represent my efforts to relax. If I'm looking for a room, I'm trying too hard to control a situation I have no control over.
