I have found dancing can also represent a person's desire to be more free with personal expression.

I also have found that dancing, represents a desire for a relationship, and the kind of relationship depends on the dance. For example, a waltz can be a desire for a romantic relationship, the latin dances such as the salsa, mambo, and so forth, imply a desire for a sexual relationship...

Dancing alone on stage represents a desire to be recongnized for individual accomplishment. You are the center of attention. You have no one to depend upon but yourself to make a good impression.

Dancing in a group, such as in a broadway production, team effort to make a good impression, you could be 'making a big production' out of only a small life problem, or you don't really stand out..or it is very important you fill a supporting role to someone who really needs your help

If you are singing in a dream and you sing very well, this represents great confidence in yourself. If your voice is weak, and you are unable to carry a tune, you do not have very much self confidence.

Hearing others sing:

If you a sad song but the lyrics have been changed so that they are cheerful, you are not really happy in your situation, no matter how much you keep telling yourself that you will be.

Joyful, pleasant music, doesn't matter if it's rock or classical, represents circumstances in your life will improve.

Sad, strange music, like an omnious chanting - sorrow, depression

Sad song will actually bring rejoicing to the person.

Emotional dancing is not very good.
