White Whale

Hi everyone,

I belive in the meaning of dreams but have a reacuring one that has me stumped. It's a long time since I have had a reacuring dream, this is completely different to any I have had before and I could use some help decifering it.

I was on a ship, one of the old fashoned one's like a pirate ship, in a community but I didn't seem to fit in. We stope at an island and a baby white whale came to me while I was sitting on the rocks, the weird thing is it felt like the whale was a part of me, a female but like she was part of my spirit. It was as if we had just met and were getting to know each other. Both the people on the ship and the whales family were trying to stop us being with each other, her family attacked her and I felt an overwhelming desire to protect her. A little later in the dream we found another island full of people that were the same as me, all had whales as there familiars, or parts of themselves.

I hope someone could help me with this one! It's a little odd even by my standards.

To be on a ship means at work.Pirates means the people who fight the others or kinda thief people.
A whale means a thief person and part of you means a partner who is part of you.

Dreams are in an indirect saying way for the near or far future lets wait and see what is on the way to understand the meaning.
