I've been molested at age 13... and although it has affected me, I rarely dream about the guy.
Last night I had a dream that he was at a family get-together. I don't remember much, just me leaving the house and walking somewhere at night, although I don't remember where. As I was walking, the man who molested me was driving down the same road. He pulled down the window, and shouted, "Hey, you shouldn't be walking around at this time. The world's a dangerous place. How about you get in?" I refused (because I knew he would hurt me if I went), and he grew angry. He told me I was foolish for refusing to get in the car. As I kept walking, he started laughing at me. I couldn't understand this dream. what does it mean? |

Hi,
The one who laughed will have a disaster and will cry. Good luck.

i think deep inside you is fear that this molester is still molesting people and you think he or she is arrogant and that he or she feels that he or she can still get away with it.
In your dream he or she is the person he is warning you about even though he or she is trying to convince you it is others you need to worry about. the simple fact that this molester showed up at your house tells me that he was never brought to justice. if he was not, you must resolve this sense of violation that you harbor inside you. NOw im not one to tell you how to do this but you must find a way to feel redeemed and receive justice for what this person has done to you. I know deep in your heart if you still feel terrible and violated when thoughts of this person and what they did arise in your mind. You may hate them. I also know you worry that they may be doing it to someone else. and the fact is unless they are caught they do strike again and again until they are caught and brought to justice and then even some dont quit. You must confront your self or them and find a way to resolve justice in your mind and heart. there is no statute of limitations on this crime. Last edited by deepsleeper : 08-19-2008 at 06:26 AM. |

This dream is one that is really only best interrepted by you. Especially when it comes to the symbolisim, as in sexual abuse cases there are many associations (read the Dream Analysis part of this website if you havent already about associations.)
In these cases it is all about power. The fact that you were walking and he was in the car- he insisted you get in, and good on you for saying no, but then he was angry, he laughed at you. Its all about power- thats what the abusers have until YOU decide to have power back. I mean this inside your own heart and soul. No one has the right to tell you how to heal and all cases are so different. Justice is a funny word, more like the system is a funny thing. Its more 'powerful' if it comes from inside of you. Only then can you start to make sense of it all. It was him that was in the wrong, you were only a child and you now have the power and light to heal, and the ability to say no. Your amazing to be a survivor. Love and healing to you. |
