Scorpion Sting

The other night I had an extremely vivid dream where several people were holding me down and placing a large scorpion on my body. I was so frightened and wanted it off of me. The scorpion ended up stinging me and I remember crying out to everyone that I needed to get to a hospital immediately. I was never taken to the hospital but woke up before I could see the outcome of the sting.

I've been going crazy trying to figure out what this means, especially since seeing a scorpion in my dream is really far-fetched to me. We don't even have scorpions where I live and I've never seen one in person. . . to have one in my dream seems completely random. Help!

The scorpion is generally interpreted as a "friend's" efforts to that are deviously and secretively trying to hurt you, or your reputation.
A scorpion sting is really a very hurtful event, sometimes even life threatening so view that which your friends are doing to you as something that ranges from being very hurtful to you and your reputation to something that jeopardizes your reputation in a huge way.
