This is a re-occuring dream I've had since I was a young child. I've dreamed this dream even as an adult, and I've thought about building this house in real life...it's neat, but has a dark side.The house looks like an old victorian house, it's natural wood, brick with a wrap-around poarch. The pieks make up the attic where the evil lives. I see three pieks. There's a river in the back, but it also has a double pool. The pool goes from the side of the house to the back of the house. The pool on the side of the house is shallow--no more than three feet, then there's a waterfall and a bridge with a tunnel into the deep pool, which is huge. The deep pool is 12 feet deep. There is a patio, with redwood, a bbq and spa. It's beautifully landscaped with fruit trees of every kind. It has a vegetable garden, chickens, room for a couple of cows, horses, but I've never dreamed of having the animals even thought the property permitted it. The house is set deep in the front yard. It has to be an acre or so for the front yard, with a large weeping willow in the front yard, flowers on the sides of the house. It has a driveway which curves up to the house. It's not quite a mansion, but it's a very large house. It's three stories, with an attic and basement and a storm celler. The basement has the washer/dryer/pantry + accomidations for canning/drying food. The inside of the house has a curved staircase going up stairs. when you get up stairs, to the third floor, is a study, and some spare unused rooms...and the attic. The door to the attic is in the roof and when you pull the handle, a ladder decends..it's dark, and forboding. I'm forbidden to ever enter the attic as there is great evil up there. I want to get rid of the evil because as you go up to the upper floors, you can feel the evil. When I try to go up into the attic, I can only get to the third or fourth step when the unseen evil comes after me. I never see it. I smell the sweet stench of it's breath of burned/rotting flesh. I used to work as a nurse, and when I worked in the burn unit...I recognized the smell from my dreams as a child of this house! wierd. Everything else of the house is totally cool...the pools, I used to swim in them in my dreams. I would love going through the tunnel under the bridge from the smaller pool to the bigger pool down the waterfall. It was neat! My room was beautiful. Oak bed, and furniture, bay window looking out over the river into the forest in the back of the house. All the bedrooms were on the second floor...seven of them, and a munchie nook with a small frig, sink, glasses. All the bedrooms have an awesome view with their own balcanies. Each bedroom has a laundry shoot which goes down to the basement. It has a library full of books on anything you want to read or study. A formal dining room with oak formal dining room table, and an oak china cabnet with the most beautiful fine china you could imagine. It has a living/entertainment room with TV, luxerous furniture. Next to that is a music room...with a baby grand piano, harp, other instruments hanging on the wall, very nice furniture. The kitchen has a bay window, with herbs growing where you can pick fresh basel, and other herbs. it's a beautiful kitchen. But, when you get to the upper parts of the house....it turns to total evil. I've never been able to confront the evil in the upper parts of the attic, it chases me out or I succomb to the stench. The thing that hits me with this dream is that this house is so amazing, BUT the evil contained in it is as deep as the beauty and functionality of the house. I've never been able to rid it of the evil. For some reason, I need to understand the meaning of this dream. It's been re-occuring like I've lived there in my spirit my whole life. The dreams are different, but the same. I'm always the only one in the house. Never any other people..not parents, friends, pets, only me and the evil. I used to play in the house, eat, watch TV, swim, pick fruit and vegetables, play in the river, but I was NEVER permitted to confront the evil which occupies the house too. Dorothy

Hello my friend,I think you dream may be showing you something that you may not want to see so I like to warn you first. But the good thing also is that once you know the problem, you are more capable of changing the situation. If you look back at your life in your childhood, something was done in which it left a negative influence on you. The house you see in your dream is your life. The level of floor represents different layers of your subconscious. Deep within your subconscious you are not able to confront a situation that may have left you paralyzed as a child. Thank you for your response. It was much different than I expected, but I feel you may be correct.I was kidnapped as an infant, and sold to a cruel, psychotic family. My adopted father repetedly molested me, then wanted to kill me because he believed that I was trying to take his wife from him. He cruely abused my adoptive mother, to whom I was very close, but she didnt' have the strength to protect me from this man. He disinherited me when he died in 2000, and gave my inheritance to the people who arranged my adoption, who were state social workers. I found out, a few years before his death the circumstances surrounding my "adoption" and that my mother died two years to the day I was taken from her...without a cause of death. Two separate autopsies couldn't find what killed her. She was a healthy 27 year old woman who never woke up on Christmas eve-- the day I was taken from her. I don't know if these are the horrors in the attic, but I faced them and over came the horror of them. Perhaps there is more that I still need to face. I will ask G-d to give me the strength and courage to do so. Dorothy

Please know that God has not forgotten you and will never forget you or this! The fact that you are having this dream is an assurance of your pulse that you are alive and not destroyed by the evil one. You are courageous in saying that you have overcoming this horror. I admire and respect you for that. But you know you have kept yourself frozen to alot of things that have happened to you! It's okay to let the LORD deal with you... God is bigger than all the evil in the world and know that God is in control in your present situation. And know this battle is not yours but the LORD's. I have started praying for you. I know that our True LORD, has His hand on you to cover and protect you from all evil. I hope you find godly company that will help you progress in your spiritual well-being. Hi Dorothy,Your mind is taken back to another era (time & space) that figured largely in your life (Victorian- Romanesque), or impacted it in a large way. This time frame is accentuated & has wrapped & woven itself in, through and around the perimeters of your mind. The heights (highlights) from the past – eerily haunt you to this day. Emotions run deep and flow through the back of your mind. They pool and affect/dictate more than one area of your life. Some on the surface and some that are HUGE and would leave most feeling in way over their head. Dig deep – as a complete emotional release and healing in addition to fully recharging your energies is required. Strength of spirit is no stranger to you. Self-surrender and starting anew are in progress for a more beautiful inner landscape of the mind in addition to sweet rewards that shall bear fruit in your life. It seems you’ve dealt with another type of ‘animal’ or "animals" so to speak that are enough to make one lose their head. You've never dreamt of having the bounty of unconditional love, freedom, and PEACE that is available. There is plentiful space provided by the Grace of God to release deep inner weeping, and share your emotions up front for a new healthier you beginning to emerge and bloom. Your mind is expansive – a beautiful place haunted by events from the past. Your subconscious mind contains the ‘tools’ it needs to wash clean and dry up old thoughts that no longer serve you. This is food for thought - to take the lid off things that have been canned for a long while & allow a drying out of old stored emotions to occur. I’ve only interpreted the 1st paragraph & 1st sentence of the 2nd (I’d forgotten –saved this to Word to look at later & think you mentioned already received a great interpretation on this one). In a nutshell - your mind is a beautiful & very expansive place with the capacity for healing old emotional memories & baggage that stink lurk in a place you’d rather not go. However opening that door and shedding light on what is dark & foreboding will assist in the places that scare you most being healed. And transpose the word evil to the word LIVE! It feels to me as if these are remnants, fragments that still need a bit re-sweeping in order to clear them completely out. Somewhat like shards from a broken glass – the bulk has been cleaned up. Yet there are slivers & fragments missed but if one were to walk barefoot – there are tender areas that would permit them to penetrate yet. A clean-sweep is in order. Hope that makes sense.
